Water soluble metalworking concentrate
A water soluble metalworking concentrate is a combination of one or more amines; one or more ferrous corrosion inhibitors; one or more phosphate esters; one or more ether carboxylates; a ricinoleic acid condensate; one or more lubricating agents; deionized water and, optionally, one or more non-ferrous corrosion inhibitors. In use, the concentrate is diluted to a concentration of approximately 5% to approximately 10%. In use, the metalworking fluid exhibits excellent lubricity, low foam generation, emulsion stability, protection of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, biostatic stability and environmental compatibility.
Corrosion inhibitors for oilfield applications
A corrosion inhibitor active and method for reducing corrosion of a metal surface in contact with a corrosive environment is disclosed. The corrosion inhibitor active is an organic sulfonated compound that is derived from the sulfonation of one or more carboxylic acids, internal olefins, or alpha-olefins having a carbon chain length of 15 to 26 carbon atoms. The method of reducing corrosion includes contacting the metal surface with an effective amount of the corrosion inhibitor active. The corrosion inhibitor active is useful in high temperature corrosive environments, such as those found in oil and gas operations.

NAPHTHENIC ACID CORROSION INHIBITORS FOR A REFINERY
Corrosion inhibitor compositions and methods for inhibiting corrosion on a metal surface exposed to a hydrocarbon fluid are provided. The corrosion inhibition compositions can include a corrosion inhibitor, such as 3-dimethylamino benzoic acid, 4-dimethylamino benzoic acid, or 2,5-dihydroxyterephthalic acid. The corrosion inhibitor composition can further comprise dimethyl sulfoxide, and heavy aromatic naphtha. The corrosion inhibitor composition can be phosphate-free and can inhibit naphthenic acid corrosion. In the methods, a corrosion inhibitor composition is added to the hydrocarbon fluid exposed to the metal surface to prevent or inhibit corrosion on the metal surface, including naphthenic acid corrosion.
AROMATIC AMINE EPOXIDES FOR CORROSION INHIBITION
Compositions and methods are provided for reducing, inhibiting, or preventing corrosion of a surface, the method comprising contacting an anticorrosion compound of Formula 1 with the surface, the anticorrosion compound of Formula 1 having a structure corresponding to:

CORROSION INHIBITOR FORMULATION
A corrosion inhibitor has a film-forming portion. In one embodiment, the corrosion inhibitor further includes a surfactant, a coupling solvent and a carrier solvent. In another embodiment, the corrosion inhibitor has a film-forming portion that includes at least two multi-dentate compounds and a compound having a single active group. Each of the multi-dentate compounds and the compound having a single active group are selected from the group consisting of compounds having nitrogen-containing polar groups, compounds having acid groups and combinations thereof.
