A safety grip system comprises first and second support structures wherein the second support structure extends transverse to the first support structure. The first support structure is provided with a first longitudinally extending safety grip at one end thereof. The first longitudinally extending safety grip on the end of the first support structure has an opening therethrough through which the second support structure extends, whereby the first longitudinally extending safety grip is non-rotatably secured to the first support structure. A second longitudinally extending safety grip is provided on the first support structure and has engagement members that inter-engage engagement members provide don the first longitudinally extending safety grip, whereby the second longitudinally extending safety grip is non-rotatably secured to the first support structure.

An aircraft cabin is provided that comprises an cabin interior space, a plurality of cabin enclosing surfaces, and a multifunctional support rail. The multifunctional support rail comprises a plurality of rail segments connected to each other forming a continuous rail arrangement. Further a number of first segments are provided as handrail in a first height, and a number of second segments is provided as a support handrail in a second height. The first height is in a waist region of a standing passenger, and the second height is in a shoulder or head region of a standing passenger. Still further, the first segments are connected with the second segments by a number of third segments provided as support handle running in a vertical direction.

A portable bathroom assembly for facilitating a disabled user to use a toilet without assistance includes a surround that has a floor, a wall and an entrance extending through the wall for entering the surround. A urinal is coupled to the surround for receiving urine from a male user. The urinal is positioned on the second lateral side of the panel adjacent to the entrance. A portable toilet is positioned on the floor and the portable toilet is mounted for urination and defecation. The portable toilet is slidably coupled to the surround and the portable toilet is slidable between a maximum distance and a minimum distance from the entrance.

A handle assembly has a first handle with first and second end regions connected to and fixed relative to first and second mounts on a wall, respectively. A second handle extends longitudinally between third and fourth end regions, with the third end region connected to the first end region of the first handle. The first and second handles each have surfaces for grasping by a user. A position of the second grab bar is adjustable relative to the first grab bar by at least one of one of pivoting the second grab bar about the longitudinal axis of the first grab bar, pivoting the second grab bar about a horizontal axis adjacent to the first end region of the first grab bar, and sliding the second grab bar along the first grab bar. A method of installing the handle assembly is also provided.

A bathroom module is disclosed. The bathroom module comprises a shower area, a toilet area, a grooming area, and plumbing inlet lines. The shower area comprises a shower head, a control valve assembly, and a drain. The toilet area comprises a toilet assembly. The toilet area and the shower area are separated from each other by a first wall. The grooming area comprises a sink assembly that comprises a faucet. The grooming area is separated from the shower area and the toilet area by a second wall. The second wall is substantially perpendicular to the first wall. Plumbing inlet lines are disposed within the first wall and the second wall and configured to supply water to the control valve assembly, the shower head, the toilet assembly, and the faucet.

A support assembly that includes a structural member that is delimited by a first end and a second end with a first end cap configured to be at least partially disposed within the first end of the structural member and a second end cap configured to be at least partially disposed within the second end of the structural member to mount the structural member to a structure. The support assembly allows for forces to be applied in all directions without causing rotation or disengagement of the support assembly from a mounting structure,

A grab bar assembly including a body, first and second end caps, and first and second couplings. The body includes a first end and a second end and is formed of one of a single body section or multiple body sections. The first end cap is attached to the first end of the body by the first coupling and the second end cap is attached to the second end of the body by the second coupling. The body sections may be of differing lengths so as to provide the grab bar assembly with a modular construction readily and easily allowing for a wide range of different length grab bar assemblies.

The inventive technology disclosed herein, in embodiments, relates to a shower stall system that may include an inventive shower drain adaptor ring 11; an inventive anti-ligature grab rail system 30; and inventive, drop-in shower installation related apparatus and methods. Note that all of these may find application in a prison environment, but may find application in other environments as well (e.g., grab rail in kitchen, shower drain adaptor ring in residential shower, etc.).
