This invention enables attachment of a washer to a squeegee head in a state in which the handle head and a back plate are joined to each other. A squeegee includes a handle, a back plate and a channel. The handle includes a handle head and a grip. A channel is clamped between the handle head and the back plate. A part of the squeegee on a front end side relative to the grip, the part excluding the channel, is referred to as a squeegee head. The squeegee includes a washer attachment portion which enables attachment of a washer to the squeegee head in a state in which the back plate is attached to the handle head. The washer attachment portion is disposed in an area of the squeegee head, the area being off an area in which the handle head and the back plate overlap each other.

Extendable Window Cleaner with Linear Actuator
20170150856 · 2017-06-01 ·

A window washing pole system incorporates a linear actuator that causes the washing head to move in a reciprocating manner to provide a scrubbing action for the washing of windows at a height above the operator's head. A standard extendable window washing pole system in which extensions can be added to vary the length of the apparatus, and thus the height the apparatus will reach, is adapted to be connected to the distal end of a linear actuator, or the actuator is incorporated into the proximal end of the pole system, and operable on compressed air to provide the reciprocating action for the washing head. Supply lines for delivering washing solution to the washing head can still be utilized. Controls for operating the linear actuator can be provided to enable the washing head to be operating in a scrubbing mode or in other modes, such as a squeegee operating mode.

Cinch-Based Towel Arrest Device
20170119139 · 2017-05-04 ·

A towel arrest device includes a body and two lips opposed from each other and formed integrally to the body. The lips each have a top, a bottom, and an inflection point therebetween. The lips are parallel, spaced apart, and define a slit between the inflection point and the bottom. The lips further converge toward the slit between the tops and the inflection points. The body biases the lips toward each other in response to expansion of the slit. When an item, such as a towel, is thus introduced into the slit, the slit expands to accommodate the towel but the lips exert an inward bias to cinch the towel and secure it in the device.
