A surface cleaning apparatus such as an extractor has a fluid flow path extending from a dirty fluid inlet head to a clean air outlet. The fluid flow path upstream of the separation stage comprises a removable portion.

A cleaning composition including an aqueous based cleaning solution mixed, on demand, with an aqueous based oxidizing solution is also provided.

An accumulator for a vacuum drainage system. The accumulator includes a body having a bottom wall, sidewalls and top wall, the bottom wall, sidewalls and top walls all cooperating to define a reservoir within the body. A first inlet port and a first outlet port are provided toward a first end of the body, and a second inlet port and a second outlet port are provided toward a second end of the body. The first and second inlet ports respectively define first and second inlet openings into the reservoir, and the first and second outlet ports respectively define first and second outlet openings from the reservoir.

The present invention provides an accessory 20 for use with, and adaptable to be releasably connected to, a vacuum cleaner 1. The accessory 20 comprises a vacuum intake head 21 having a chamber 21a arranged such that when the accessory 20 is connected to the vacuum cleaner 1, the chamber 21a is in fluid communication with the vacuum cleaner 1 and adaptable to receive air and liquid from and around the surface to be cleaned. An envelope (10) for use with a vacuum cleaner, the envelope (10) comprising flexible material arranged to provide a fluid path there-through, and further comprising a coupling arranged to couple the envelope (10) to a structural member for in use maintaining the fluid path open by supporting the envelope (10) against external pressure, wherein the envelope (10) is arranged in use to isolate, from the fluid path, the structural member that supports the envelope (10).

The present disclosure provides a surface cleaning apparatus that includes a recovery system that extracts liquid and debris with a drying cycle in which forced air flows through a recovery pathway of the recovery system to dry out components that remain wet and/or retain moisture after normal operation of the apparatus. The post-operation drying cycle can dry out components such as an agitator or brushroll, a brush chamber, a suction nozzle, a recovery tank, a filter, and any of the various conduits, ducts, and/or hoses fluidly coupling components of the recovery system together.

A vacuum tool configured to be removably coupled to hose or wand of a vacuum includes a body including a first end, a second end, and a first longitudinal axis extending between the first end and the second end. The vacuum tool also includes a head coupled to the first end of the body, a connection portion coupled to the second end of the body and configured to couple the body to a hose or wand of a vacuum cleaner, and a brush coupled to the head. The brush includes an elongate support defining a second axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the body and configured to couple the brush to the head, and a plurality of bristles positioned on the elongate support.

A surface cleaning head has a rotatably mounted brush, which is provided at a front end of the surface cleaning head, a cleaning solution delivery system and a removable liquid collection reservoir, which is provided in the surface cleaning head rearward of the brush. The cleaning solution delivery system comprises a pump, a liquid reservoir and a fluid flow path extending from the liquid reservoir to at least one delivery nozzle, wherein the at least one delivery nozzle is provided in the surface cleaning head and is configured to deliver a liquid drawn from the liquid reservoir to a portion of the brush that is located internal of the surface cleaning head.
