OZONE WATER SUPPLY APPARATUS AND OZONE GENERATION DEVICE
20210276867 · 2021-09-09 ·

An ozone water supply apparatus and an ozone supply device are provided. The ozone generation device includes a Venturi tube and an ozone generation module connected to the Venturi tube. The ozone generation module includes a circuit unit, an ozone-activated tube, and a launcher, the latter two of which are electrically coupled to the circuit unit. The launcher includes a transparent tube, a floating body arranged in the transparent tube, and an optical detector arranged outside of the transparent tube and electrically coupled to the circuit unit. When a gas flows through the transparent tube so as to move the floating body along the transparent tube, the optical detector is configured to detect the movement of the floating body, so that the ozone-activated tube can be driven by the circuit unit to excite the gas to become an ozone that floats toward the Venturi tube.

OZONE GENERATION DEVICE AND POWER SUPPLY FOR OZONE GENERATION DEVICE

An ozone generation device includes an inverter, an ozone generator, and a reactor. The inverter turns on and off a switching element by pulse width modulation (PWM) control to convert DC power into AC power. In the ozone generator, voltage of the AC power is applied to a dielectric electrode, and discharge is generated in raw material gas flowing in a discharge gap between the dielectric electrode and a metal electrode, so that ozone is generated by the discharge. The reactor is connected in series to a dielectric electrode, and reduces an inrush current that flows through the dielectric electrode when the switching element is switched from off to on by the PWM control by the inverter.

Ozone cell power supply apparatus and method

The present invention generally includes an ozone generation system with a power supply that measures the rate of energy delivered to the ozone generation cell. While changing voltage, frequency or current will likely affect the rate of energy delivery, current, frequency and voltage provide a very poor and unreliable control for an ozone generation cell. It is only through control of the rate of energy delivery that consistent, reliable ozone generation is possible. Based upon the measurements of the rate of energy delivery as measured at the ozone generation cell, compared to the rate of energy delivery supplied, the rate of energy delivery supplied can be adjusted to improve ozone production and control.

Electrical Discharge Cell for Generating Ozone

An electrical discharge ozone generation cell has first and second electrode base plates which are separated by a nonconductive flat spacer plate. Within a central opening in the spacer plate is fitted an electrode plate in close contact with the first electrode base plate. A dielectric plate in close contact with the second electrode base plate and with the spacer plate helps define a gas discharge chamber with the interior edges of the spacer plate and the electrode plate. Gaskets on the two sides of the spacer plate around the central opening displaced away from the interior edges of the spacer plate ensure a gas seal for the electrical discharge chamber.
