Mopping extension for a robotic vacuum
Provided is a mopping extension attachable to a robotic floor cleaning device including: a fluid reservoir for storing one or more cleaning fluids; a cloth for receiving the one or more cleaning fluids, wherein the cloth is oriented toward the work surface; and, at least one or more dispersed nozzle sets for controlling delivery of the one or more cleaning fluids to the cloth.
FLOOR CLEANER
A floor cleaner including a recovery tank. The recovery tank includes a tank body having a lower end wall, an open upper end, and a sidewall that extend upwardly from the lower end wall. A cover that includes a suction air outlet in fluid communication with a vacuum source. An inlet duct extends upwardly from the lower end wall. The recover tank includes a shutoff float including a float body and a closure. The float body is configured to float on a surface of cleaning fluid and the closure is received in the suction air outlet to close the suction air outlet. The float body moves along the inlet duct as the float body floats on the surface of the cleaning fluid. The float body includes an aperture extending through the float body and the inlet duct extends through the aperture of the float body.
Portable vacuum and related accessories
An improved wet/dry vacuum device is provided. The device comprises features for enhancing the portability, mobility and usefulness of existing wet/dry vacuums and canister vacuum devices. Features of devices of the present disclosure include, but are not limited to, hose storage features, accessory storage features, and power cord management features.
PORTABLE HARD SURFACE CLEANING APPLIANCE
A portable hard surface cleaning appliance is provided, including a suction nozzle having a suction opening at which at least one squeegee lip is arranged, an electrical device having a suction turbine in flow connection with the suction nozzle for suctioning a liquid air mixture from the suction opening, an electric motor, an electronic control system, at least one rechargeable battery, a separating device arranged in the flow path between the suction nozzle and the suction turbine for separating liquid from the suctioned liquid air mixture, and a liquid tank for receiving the separated liquid. The hard surface cleaning appliance includes an inner housing arrangement and an outer housing arrangement, wherein the inner housing arrangement accommodates the separating device and the electrical device, and the outer housing arrangement surrounds the inner housing arrangement.
WET/DRY VACUUM DEVICE
An improved shop vacuum with wet/dry capability uses a vacuum tube that terminates in a space between the canister and the vacuum compartment such that the substance and content exiting the vacuum tube is not directly opposed the negative pressure source. This allows the substance to drain into the canister in a more controlled and less volatile condition, reducing splashing and entrainment of the substance. Moreover, a second exit for the vacuum has been added to the canister to improve the efficiency of the vacuum and the overall performance of the device.
Combination backpack vacuum cleaner and caddy
A caddy is provided for mounting a vacuum cleaner for transport and use. The caddy comprises a lower support assembly mounted on a plurality of wheels, a vertical support assembly comprising at least two members vertically extending from the lower support assembly, and an intermediate support mounted on the vertical mounting assembly a vertical distance up from the lower support assembly. The lower support assembly includes centrally-located mounting guides for receiving and holding the vacuum cleaner. The intermediate support comprises a generally circular-shaped member having an opening for facilitating the insertion and removal of the vacuum cleaner from the caddy. A lead is attached to the lower support assembly and may be connected to an intermediate location on a hose of the vacuum cleaner for redistributing a pulling force applied to the hose between the top of the vacuum cleaner and the lower support assembly of the caddy during use.
Mopping extension for a robotic vacuum
Provided is an autonomous coverage robot including: a chassis; a set of wheels; a plurality of sensors; and a mopping assembly including: a fluid reservoir for storing a cleaning fluid; a cloth for receiving the cleaning fluid, wherein the cloth is oriented toward a work surface; a means to move at least the cloth of the mopping assembly up and down in a plane perpendicular to the work surface, wherein the means to move at least the cloth of the mopping assembly up and down is controlled automatically based on input provided by at least one of the plurality of sensors; and a means to move at least a portion of the mopping assembly back and forth in a plane parallel to the work surface.
Floor cleaner
A floor cleaner including a recovery tank in fluid communication with a vacuum source and a suction inlet. The recovery tank is configured to store cleaning fluid drawn through the suction inlet from a surface by the vacuum source. The recovery tank includes a tank body and a strainer. The tank body has a lower end wall and a sidewall that extends upwardly from the lower end wall and an inlet duct that extends upwardly from the lower end wall. The strainer is positioned inside the tank body, the strainer movable from a lowermost position to a removed position. The strainer includes a perforated body and an aperture through the body, the inlet duct extends through the aperture of the strainer, and the strainer engages an outer surface of the inlet duct retaining the strainer onto the inlet duct.
Vacuum and blower
A vacuum and blower device is disclosed. The vacuum and blower device comprises a fan driven by a first motor, and a housing with a vent, a vacuum input aperture, and a blower output aperture. The vacuum input aperture and the blower output aperture are on one end of the device. The vacuum and blower device further includes an airflow director, the airflow director being held within the housing and adapted to be rotated between a first and second position. A blower output channel communicates with the airflow director and the blower output aperture. In the first position, the fan draws air through the vacuum input aperture and out the vent and airflow to the blower output channel is blocked. In the second position, the fan blows air through the blower output channel and out the blower output aperture.
Surface cleaning apparatus
An upright surface cleaning apparatus comprises a surface cleaning head a cleaning unit moveably mounted to the surface cleaning head between a generally upright position and a rearwardly inclined in use position, a push handle and an above floor cleaning assembly.
