A device, attachments, and method for grooming or cleaning the fur of an animal. The device includes a main unit, a steam delivery system operatively engaged with the main unit, and a liquid delivery system operatively engaged with the main unit. The steam delivery system is operable to selectively deliver a quantity of steam to the animal's fur and the liquid delivery system is operable to selectively deliver a volume of liquid to the animal's fur. The steam delivery system and liquid delivery system are selectively independently activated to perform a grooming or cleaning task with the device. One or more attachments are connectable with the main unit via a hose. Some of the attachments include a plurality of tines that extend outwardly in the direction of movement of the attachment along the animal's body and capture and lift hairs for improved application of liquid, shampoo, or air thereto.

A portable surface cleaning apparatus for a floor surface includes a main housing assembly adapted to be hand carried by a user, the main housing assembly carrying a fluid delivery system adapted for storing cleaning fluid and delivering the cleaning fluid to the surface to be cleaned, and a fluid recovery system adapted for removing the cleaning fluid and debris from the surface to be cleaned and storing the cleaning fluid and debris that was recovered, the main housing assembly comprising a base housing, a supply tank received on the main housing assembly, a recovery tank received on the main housing assembly separately from the supply tank.

The present disclosure provides a surface cleaning apparatus that includes steam delivery. The apparatus includes a hand-carried body adapted to be hand-carried by a user, the hand-carried body including a supply tank, a recovery tank, a liquid supply pump, a steam supply pump, a heater, and a suction source including a vacuum motor. A flexible hose is mounted to the hand-carried body and a hand-held cleaning tool mounted to an end of the hose.

An upright extractor has an upright section moveably mounted to a surface cleaning head. The upright section has a wand and hose assembly and a liquid separator. The liquid separator comprises a solid collection chamber that is separated from a liquid collection chamber by a porous divider. The upright extractor is operable in a floor cleaning mode in which the handle is a driving handle of the upright extractor. A cover that includes a suction air outlet in fluid communication with a vacuum source. An inlet duct extends upwardly from the lower end wall. The recover tank includes a shutoff float including a float body and a closure. The float body is configured to float on a surface of cleaning fluid and the closure is received in the suction air outlet to close the suction air outlet. The float body moves along the inlet duct as the float body floats on the surface of the cleaning fluid. The float body includes an aperture extending through the float body and the inlet duct extends through the aperture of the float body.

A floor cleaner including a including a base, an upright portion, and a recovery tank. The recovery tank includes a baffle configured to separate liquid and air from a liquid-laden stream entering the recovery tank.

A handheld extraction cleaner includes a unitary body provided with a carry handle, and further provided with a supply tank, a suction nozzle, a recovery tank, and a suction source, all of which are carried by the unitary body. In one aspect, the recovery tank is configured to optimize the usable volume within the tank and a user's view of the collected dirty liquid within the tank, among other functions. In another aspect the recovery tank has an auto-close feature that automatically seals an outlet of the tank when the recovery tank is mounted to a tank receiver of the unitary body. In yet another aspect, the extraction cleaner has an agitator that slides out from a side of the unitary body. In still another aspect, the suction nozzle includes a cleaning angle guide skid to orient the extraction cleaner at an optimal cleaning angle. In a further aspect, the supply tank is a non-removable part located at a rear of the unitary body.

A handheld extraction cleaner includes a fluid delivery system and a recovery system including a suction nozzle, a recovery tank, and a suction source. The recovery tank has an auto-close feature that automatically seals an outlet of the tank when the recovery tank is mounted to a tank receiver of the extraction cleaner.
