Vacuum filter having annular catch
A filter for a vacuum cleaner includes a top having an open center, a bottom plate having an outermost edge, a center, an inside surface facing towards the top, an outside surface facing away from the top, and a catch extending from the inside surface annularly around the center, filter material being secured between the top and bottom plate. An adaptor for a filter cage or the filter cage itself includes a radial retention ring that engages the catch of the filter.
Seal Assembly for Waste Water Tank
A seal assembly for a waste water tank. The seal assembly comprises: a base (2) disposed at a waste water tank (1); a linkage (3) movably disposed at the base (2); a sealing cover (4) connected to the linkage (3) and disposed at a waste water inlet (101) and on a suction opening (102); and a push rod (5) connected to the linkage (3) and used for pushing the linkage (3) to press the sealing cover (4)so as to seal the waste water inlet (101) and the suction opening (102). A bottom end of the push rod (5) is connected to a side wheel component (6) of a floor cleaning machine and the push rod (5) can move up and down along the side wheel component (6).
WET FLOORCARE ROBOT CLEANER TANK LATCH
In one aspect, an autonomous cleaning robot includes a drive configured to propel the robot along the floor surface and a tank assembly. The tank assembly includes a reservoir, left and right receptacles, and a handle extending across a cover of the tank assembly, the handle being moveable between a first position and a second position, wherein when the handle is in the second position, the tank assembly is locked in position. The tank assembly also includes left and right latch assemblies receivable by the left and right receptacles, respectively. Each latch assembly includes a moveable assembly configured to lock the tank assembly in position when the handle is in the second position.
Surface cleaning apparatus
A portable surface cleaning apparatus for a floor surface includes a recovery tank and a supply tank separated by a partition, and further includes a carry handle defining a handle grip spaced above the supply and recovery tanks, wherein the handle grip does not intersect the supply tank or the recovery tank.
AUTONOMOUS SURFACE CLEANING ROBOT FOR WET AND DRY CLEANING
An autonomous floor cleaning robot includes a transport drive and control system arranged for autonomous movement of the robot over a floor for performing cleaning operations. The robot chassis carries a first cleaning zone comprising cleaning elements arranged to suction loose particulates up from the cleaning surface and a second cleaning zone comprising cleaning elements arraigned to apply a cleaning fluid onto the surface and to thereafter collect the cleaning fluid up from the surface after it has been used to clean the surface. The robot chassis carries a supply of cleaning fluid and a waste container for storing waste materials collected up from the cleaning surface.
LIQUID EXTRACTION APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus comprises a body, a first tank, a second tank, a vacuum motor, a fluid pump, and a controller. The body comprises a handle and an accessory connection receptacle comprising a fluid output and an electrical contact. The first tank comprises a first vessel configured to accommodate a fluid. The second tank comprises a second vessel separated from the first vessel. The controller is configured to activate the fluid pump to cause fluid contained in the first tank to be supplied to the fluid output, and to activate the vacuum motor to draw one or more of air, debris, a liquid or a portion of the fluid into the second tank. The accessory connection receptacle is configured to accommodate a correspondingly shaped accessory connector configured to mate with the accessory connection receptacle and be communicatively coupled with the fluid output and with the electrical contact.
SURFACE CLEANER
A surface cleaner that includes an accessory body removably coupled to a base. A nozzle has a first nozzle portion having a first nozzle passageway attached to the base and a second nozzle portion having a second nozzle passageway attached to the accessory body and removable with the accessory body. The first nozzle portion and second nozzle portion are releasably coupled connecting the first and second nozzle passageways along an airpath in fluid communication with a collection container when the accessory body is coupled to the base. The first nozzle passageway forms a suction inlet when the accessory body is coupled to the base and the second nozzle passageway forms the suction inlet in communication with the collection container and the suction source when the accessory body is uncoupled from the base.
Vacuum bypass vent and vacuums incorporating such bypass vents
A vacuum appliance capable of picking up both wet and dry material is described, wherein the vacuum appliance includes an impeller configured to induce liquid into the vacuum appliance, a motor configured to turn the impeller, a restrictor assembly to prevent the liquid from being ingested into the motor, and a bypass vent assembly configured to allow sufficient air to reach the motor in order to keep the motor cool while the restrictor is preventing the liquid from being ingested into the motor. The vacuum appliance also includes a drum configured to retain the liquid and an impeller intake between the impeller and the drum. The restrictor may comprise a float configured to rise with a level of the liquid in the drum and prevent the liquid from entering the impeller intake. The bypass vent assembly may be configured to allow airflow to bypass the restrictor and/or the drum.
Spot cleaner apparatus
A spot cleaner apparatus may have a clean fluid tank configured for holding a cleaning fluid. A dirty fluid tank may include an integrated liquid/air separator. A cleaning head may be fluidly coupled to the clean fluid tank, the cleaning head including one or more vacuum inlets and a fluid-nebulizing orifice configured to dispense the cleaning fluid in a mist-like fashion. A pump assembly may fluidly couple the clean fluid tank to the cleaning head. A fluid heater heats the cleaning fluid at or between the clean fluid tank and the fluid-nebulizing orifice. A vacuum assembly configured for drawing a vacuum airflow from one or more vacuum inlets in the cleaning head through the integrated liquid/air separator in the dirty fluid tank.
