Cleaning device having vacuum cleaner and docking station and method of controlling the same
A cleaning device and a method therefor are provided. The cleaning device includes a vacuum cleaner including a dust collecting container and a docking station to which the dust collecting container is coupled. The docking station includes a suction device configured to move air from the dust collecting container to inside of the docking station, a collector configured to collect a foreign substance that is moved together with the air by driving of the suction device, a suction flow path along which air moves inside the docking station, a flow adjusting device configured to open or close the suction flow path, and at least one processor configured to control the suction device to operate based on the dust collecting container being coupled to the docking station, and control the flow adjusting device to periodically open and close the suction flow path in a state in which the suction device operates.
COMBINATION BACKPACK VACUUM CLEANER AND CADDY
A caddy is provided for mounting a vacuum cleaner for transport and use. The caddy comprises a lower support assembly mounted on a plurality of wheels, a vertical support assembly comprising at least two members vertically extending from the lower support assembly, and an intermediate support mounted on the vertical mounting assembly a vertical distance up from the lower support assembly. The lower support assembly includes centrally-located mounting guides for receiving and holding the vacuum cleaner. The intermediate support comprises a generally circular-shaped member having an opening for facilitating the insertion and removal of the vacuum cleaner from the caddy. A lead is attached to the lower support assembly and may be connected to an intermediate location on a hose of the vacuum cleaner for redistributing a pulling force applied to the hose between the top of the vacuum cleaner and the lower support assembly of the caddy during use.
SUPPORT DEVICE OF CLEANER AND CLEANER UNIT
A support device of the cleaner includes a charging stand body provided with a charging port for charging the cleaner and a plurality of fixing parts disposed to be spaced apart from each other on the charging stand body and each having a fixing groove in which a fixing protrusion provided on the cleaner is accommodated.
Vacuum cleaner
The vacuum cleaner includes: a vacuum cleaner main body including a suction device generating a suction force; a nozzle assembly connected with the main body and configured to suction air by the suction force of the suction device; a connector configured to connect the nozzle assembly with the main body and rotatably coupled to the nozzle assembly; and a locking unit which locks the main body to maintain a state in which the main body is erect and which unlocks the main body in the locked state by a rotation of the main body.
CLEANER HOLDER
A cleaner holder includes a first body having a charging terminal to charge a cleaner; a second body connected to the first body, configured to support the cleaner and having an accommodation space in which a battery is accommodated; and a locking part rotatably connected to the first body and configured to fix the cleaner, wherein when force having predetermined magnitude is applied to the locking part in one direction, the locking part is rotated in a first direction to be coupled to the cleaner, so that the cleaner is fixed, and wherein when force having predetermined magnitude is applied to the locking part in the other direction, the locking part is rotated in a second direction opposite to the first direction to be uncoupled from the clean.
ACCESSORIES FOR A SURFACE TREATMENT APPARATUS HAVING A PLURALITY OF OPERATIONAL STATES AND SURFACE TREATMENT APPARATUS CONFIGURED TO ACTUATE THE SAME
A surface treatment apparatus may include a coupling, a handle, an accessory coupled to the coupling, and a toggle proximate the handle. The accessory may have at least two operational states. An actuation of the toggle may cause the accessory to transition between operational states.
Surface cleaning apparatus
An upright surface cleaning apparatus comprises an upper section moveably mounted to the surface cleaning head between a floor cleaning position, in which the upright surface cleaning apparatus is useable for cleaning a floor, and a storage position. The storage position includes a storage orientation of the upper section relative to the surface cleaning head wherein the upper section is stable in the storage position. The upright surface cleaning apparatus further comprises an anti-rotation locking mechanism that automatically engages when the upper section is moved into the storage position and inhibits changes in orientation of the upper section once the upper section is in the storage position. The upright surface cleaning apparatus further comprises a cleaning unit that is removably mounted to the upper section and is removable while the upper section is in the storage position.
Upright surface treatment apparatus having removable pod
A reconfigurable surface treatment apparatus may include a wand and a pod removably coupled to the wand. The wand may have a first distal end that is configured to couple to a surface cleaning head and a second distal end that is configured to couple to a handle. The pod may include a suction motor assembly cavity, a battery cavity, and a dust cup cavity. The suction motor assembly cavity and the battery cavity may be disposed on opposing sides of a vertical plane, wherein the vertical plane extends along a central longitudinal axis of the pod. The dust cup cavity may be disposed between the suction motor assembly cavity and the battery cavity such that at least a portion of the dust cup cavity is disposed on each side of the vertical plane.
