This document describes a mobile cleaning robot including a chassis having a forward portion and an aft portion; a blower affixed to the chassis; a bin supported by the chassis and configured to receive airflow from the blower, the chassis enabling evacuation of the bin through a bottom of the robot. The bin includes a top, a bottom, a sidewall, and an internal barrier. The bin includes a first volume and a second volume separated by the internal barrier and a filter unit supported by the internal barrier and removably disposed in an airflow path between the first volume that includes an intake port in the bin and the second volume that includes an exhaust port in the bin.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL UNIT FOR DUST AND ODOR CONTROL
20220273148 · 2022-09-01 ·

An environmental control unit comprises a housing, a vacuum cleaner, a filtration unit, and a blower. The vacuum cleaner is positioned in the housing and is configured to receive a tool contaminant stream produced by at least one tool. The vacuum cleaner filters particulate matter from the tool contaminant stream, thereby producing a filtered air stream. The filtration unit is also positioned within the housing and comprises at least one filter. The blower is positioned within the housing downstream of the filtration unit. The blower is configured to create negative air pressure within the second compartment to draw an area contaminant stream from an exterior of the environmental control unit into the housing. A second blower may also be present. The blower draws the filtered air stream and the area contaminant stream through the at least one filter in the filtration unit to produce a filtered mixture stream.

Surface cleaning apparatus

A surface cleaning apparatus includes a housing having an elongate axis (H) and supports a suction source, and a dirt separation device having an elongate axis (A). The dirt separation device includes a separator for separating dirt from dirt-laden air, and a dirt collection chamber for receiving separated dirt. The dirt separation device or a part of the dirt separation device is releasably connected to the housing. A passage member that transports dirt-laden air to the dirt separation device has an elongate axis (B). The dirt separation device is pivotally moveable relative to the housing to effect release of the dirt separation device.

Dirt separation device

A dirt separation device for a surface cleaning apparatus including: a separator for separating dirt from dirt-laden air; an inlet through which dirt-laden air is drawn into the separator; an outlet through which cleaner air exits the separator; a dirt collection chamber for receiving separated dirt; a cover member movable between a first position in which the cover member inhibits access to the dirt collection chamber and a second position in which the cover member permits access to the dirt collection chamber; an actuator device coupled to the cover member for effecting movement of the cover member from the first position to the second position, wherein the actuator device is rotationally movable, or an engagement part operably connected to the actuator device is rotationally movable, to effect movement of the closing member from the first position to the second position.

Dust collector, vacuum cleaner, and self-propelled vacuum cleaner

In a dust collector, an intake side surface on the intake portion side of a filter expands in a first direction, and extends in a direction including at least a component of a second direction. The housing of the dust collector includes a wall that defines an intake passage. The intake passage extends from the intake portion side to the filter side. One end of the intake passage is linked to the outside of the housing via the intake portion. Another end of the intake passage opposes a top surface side region of the intake side surface of the filter in a third direction perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction. When viewed from the first direction, the top surface side region approaches the another end of the intake passage as it approaches the top surface side in the second direction.

AIR DUCT ASSEMBLY AND CLEANING DEVICE

Disclosed are an air duct assembly and a cleaning device. The air duct assembly includes a dirt collecting box, a filter, a cyclone separator and a fan. The dirt collecting box is provided with a dirt collecting cavity and the dirt collecting box is also provided with a dirt inlet and an air outlet communicated with the dirt collecting cavity. The dirt collecting cavity is provided with an air guiding structure, the filter is arranged in the air outlet, the cyclone separator is connected with the air outlet, and the fan is connected with the cyclone separator. The fan drives an air flow to enter into the dirt collecting cavity from the dirt inlet, and enter the cyclone separator from the air outlet after being guided by the air guiding structure, and then enter the fan from the cyclone separator.

Surface cleaning apparatus

A hand vacuum cleaner has a front end, a rear end, a longitudinal axis extending between the front and rear ends, an air flow passage, an air treatment member, an outer wiper, and a front door. The air treatment member includes a treatment chamber having a porous dirt separator. The wiper travels across at least a portion of an outer wall of the porous dirt separator as the wiper moves between a first position to a second position. The front door is moveably mounted between a closed position and an open position, and is drivingly connected to the wiper whereby when the front door moves from the closed position to the open position, the wiper travels from the first position to the second position. A hand vacuum cleaner also has a first cleaning stage which is rotatable to an open position wherein as the first cleaning stage is opened a wiper cleans a porous substrate.

Cleaner

A cleaner includes a hollow cylindrical housing; a housing wall dividing an internal space of the housing into a first space and a second space; a wall through-hole defined to pass through the housing wall; a mounting portion including a mounting body having a top face and a mounting space defined therein in communication with the second space, the mounting body being fixed into the wall through-hole; first openings defined in a first region of the bottom face, and second openings defined in a second region of the bottom face; a separator disposed in the first space to form a flow path for guiding air to the plurality of openings, and a filter that includes a filter body located in the mounting space, and filter faces to filter the air flowing through the first openings and second openings.
