The present invention relates to a vacuum cleaner, and more particularly to a vacuum cleaner including a case detachably provided at a cleaner body to accommodate dust and of which an upper surface and a lower surface are opened; a cyclone provided inside the case to separate the dust; an upper cover configured to shield the upper surface of the case and having a suction port through which the dust is suctioned and a discharge port through which air separated from the dust is discharged; an upper locker rotatably installed at an outer surface of the case and configured to selectively restrict the upper cover; a lower cover configured to shield the lower surface of the case; and a lower locker slidably installed at the outer surface of the case and configured to selectively push and open the lower cover.

A hand vacuum cleaner has a main body comprising a suction motor, a front end, a rear end and a handle, the suction motor having a suction motor inlet end that faces the front end of the main body. A cyclone unit is positioned in the air flow passage upstream from the suction motor, the cyclone unit is removably mounted to the front end of the main body wherein the first cyclonic stage faces towards the suction motor inlet end. In another embodiment, the handle is provided on the top of the main body with a grip portion provided between a lower surface of the handle and an upper surface of the main body, the handle extending in the forward/rearward direction and having a front end, a rear end and a handle length that is greater than a length of the suction motor in the forward/rearward direction.

A autonomous cleaner includes: a cleaner body including a wheel unit for autonomous traveling; a suction unit provided to protrude from one side of the cleaner body, the suction unit sucking air containing dust; a sensing unit provided at the one side of the cleaner body; a dust container accommodated in a dust container accommodation part formed at the other side of the cleaner body, the dust container collecting dust filtered from sucked air; and a dust container cover hinge-coupled to the cleaner body to be rotatable, the dust container cover being provided to cover a top surface of the dust container when the dust container cover is coupled to the dust container.

A cleaner includes: a main body that receives a suction motor; and a filter unit that is detachably coupled to the main body to filter air discharged from the suction motor and includes a ring-shaped filter and a filter frame that receives the ring-shaped filter, wherein the filter frame includes: an inner frame; an outer frame that defines a filter space for receiving the filter in cooperation with the inner frame; and a ring-shaped filter cover that connects the outer frame and the inner frame to each other and has one or more air openings.

A robot floor cleaning system features a mobile floor cleaning robot and an evacuation station. The robot includes: a chassis with at least one drive wheel operable to propel the robot across a floor surface; a cleaning bin disposed within the robot and arranged to receive debris ingested by the robot during cleaning; and a robot vacuum configured to pull debris into the cleaning bin from an opening on an underside of the robot. The evacuation station is configured to evacuate debris from the cleaning bin of the robot, and includes: a housing defining a platform arranged to receive the cleaning robot in a position in which the opening on the underside of the robot aligns with a suction opening defined in the platform; and an evacuation vacuum in fluid communication with the suction opening and operable to draw air into the evacuation station housing through the suction opening.

A hand vacuum cleaner has an air treatment member having an air inlet passage which comprises a handle for the air treatment member and a door lock of the air treatment member wherein, when a user's hand is holding the air treatment member by the air treatment member handle, the door release actuator is operable by the same hand.

A hand vacuum cleaner has a uniflow cyclone with a front cyclone air inlet and a rear air cyclone outlet.

A surface cleaning apparatus comprises a hand vacuum cleaner, a surface cleaning head and a rigid air flow conduit extending between the surface cleaning head and the hand vacuum cleaner. The air treatment member has an air inlet and the outlet end of the rigid air flow conduit is removably connectable in air flow communication with the air inlet.

A hand vacuum cleaner comprises a main body has a driving handle and houses a suction motor and fan assembly, the suction motor and fan assembly having a suction motor axis of rotation wherein the driving handle has a hand grip portion that extends upwardly and forwardly when the hand vacuum cleaner is oriented with the upper end above the lower end. A cleaner includes: a main body that has an opening; a suction motor that is disposed in the main body and generates suction force; and a filter unit that includes an exhaust filter for filtering air discharged from the suction motor, the filter unit being inserted into the main body through the opening and being separated from the main body, wherein when the filter unit is combined with the main body, a portion of the filter unit protrudes out of the main body, and a portion of the exhaust filter is positioned inside the main body and the other portion of the exhaust filter is positioned outside the main body.
