The present invention relates generally to the field of accessories for a stationary tool and more specifically, to a dust collection or debris-removal device that can be connected to the stationary tool. The device includes a frame, a clamp, a hose frame and a vacuum piece to create suction to remove sawdust and other debris from a cutting area. The vacuum piece further has a generally circular or half-circular cutout that allows a user to position the piece around a drill bit while the cutting element while it is in use. The vacuum piece provides an angle of suction around the cutting piece ranging from 300 to 350 degrees to provide adequate suction in order to capture the maximum amount of sawdust and or debris produced by the stationary tool during use.

The present disclosure provides a material collection system. The material collection system includes a conduit, a vacuum generator coupled to the conduit, an engine powering the vacuum generator, and a container mounted to a chassis of a vehicle. The vacuum generator generates airflow for drawing material into a material inlet of the conduit. The container receives collected material from the conduit. The material collection system and vehicle can have a gross vehicle weight rating of at or below approximately 26,000 lbs.

A vacuum cleaner assembly configured to be mounted in a vehicle. The vacuum cleaner assembly includes a vacuum module and a collector module configured to collect debris and operatively coupled to the vacuum module. The collector module includes a canister assembly with an intake port, an output port, and a flapper valve coupled to the intake port. An elbow assembly couples the vacuum module to the collector module and includes an intake end attached to the output port of the canister assembly. The intake end has a foam section disposed on a grill insert. Upon removal of the canister assembly from the collector module, the flapper valve moves to a closed position over the intake port of the canister assembly to keep debris contained in the canister assembly, and the grill insert and the foam section remain in place in the intake end of the elbow assembly.

A central vacuum cleaning system having a floor level debris pickup valve preferably mounted in the bottom of a cabinet and connected to a tubular conduit of a vacuum producing unit by a connection assembly. The connection assembly includes a flexible and expandable hose having a pair of end connectors. Each end connector preferably is a bayonet connector. The hose is connected at one end to the rigid tubular conduit of the central vacuum system and the other end connector is pulled through an opening formed in the cabinet by expanding the hose. The expandable hose enables the pickup valve to be attached easily to the other end of the hose, after which the hose is retracted back into a restricted space below the cabinet bottom wall and the pickup valve then attached to the cabinet.
