A molecular sieve having the structure of COK-5 is produced using, as a structure directing agent, at least one diquaternary ammonium compound selected from the group consisting of 1,4-bis(N-propylpyrrolidinium)butane dications, 1,4-bis(N-butylpyrrolidinium)butane dications and 1,5-bis(N-propylpyrrolidinium)pentane dications.

HYDROCARBON CONVERSION USING UZM-53
A new crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite comprising a MTT framework has been synthesized that has been designated UZM-53. This zeolite is represented by the empirical formula:
M.sup.+.sub.mR.sub.rAl.sub.1-xE.sub.xSi.sub.yO.sub.z
where M represents sodium, potassium or a combination of sodium and potassium cations, R is the organic structure directing agent or agents derived from reactants R1 and R2 where R1 is diisopropanolamine and R2 is a chelating diamine, and E is an element selected from the group consisting of gallium, iron, boron and mixtures thereof. Catalysts made from UZM-53 have utility in various hydrocarbon conversion reactions such as oligomerization.

MOLECULAR SIEVE SSZ-109, ITS SYNTHESIS AND USE
A novel synthetic crystalline molecular sieve designated as SSZ-109 is disclosed. SSZ-109 is synthesized using a structure directing agent comprising one or more of N,N,N,N-tetramethyl-N,N-diisobutylhexane-1,6-diammonium cations, N,N,N,N-tetramethyl-N,N-dineopentylhexane-1,6-diammonium cations, and N,N,N,N-tetramethyl-N-isobutyl-N-neopentylhexane-1,6-diammonium cations.

Post-treatment of deboronated MWW zeolite
A process for the post-treatment of a zeolitic material having an MWW framework structure, the process comprising (i) providing a zeolitic material having an MWW framework structure, wherein the framework structure of the zeolitic material comprises X.sub.2O.sub.3 and YO.sub.2, wherein Y is a tetravalent element and X is a trivalent element and wherein the molar ratio X.sub.2O.sub.3:YO.sub.2 is greater than 0.02:1; (ii) treating the zeolitic material provided in (i) with a liquid solvent system thereby obtaining a zeolitic material having a molar ratio X.sub.2O.sub.3:YO.sub.2 of at most 0.02:1, and at least partially separating the zeolitic material from the liquid solvent system; (iii) treating the zeolitic material obtained from (ii) with a liquid aqueous system having a pH in the range of 5.5 to 8 and a temperature of at least 75? C.

Small crystal ZSM-5, its synthesis and use
A molecular sieve having the framework structure of ZSM-5 is described comprising crystals having an external surface area in excess of 100 m.sup.2/g (as determined by the t-plot method for nitrogen physisorption) and a unique X-ray diffraction pattern.
