Coverage robots and associated cleaning bins
An autonomous coverage robot includes a chassis, a drive system configured to maneuver the robot, and a cleaning assembly. The cleaning assembly includes a cleaning assembly housing and at least one driven sweeper brush. The robot includes a controller and a removable sweeper bin configured to receive debris agitated by the driven sweeper brush. The sweeper bin includes an emitter disposed on an interior surface of the bin and a receiver disposed remotely from the emitter on the interior surface of the bin and configured to receive an emitter signal. The emitter and the receiver are disposed such that a threshold level of accumulation of debris in the sweeper bin blocks the receiver from receiving emitter emissions. The robot includes a bin controller disposed in the sweeper bin and monitoring a detector signal and initiating a bin full routine upon determining a bin debris accumulation level requiring service.

Cleaning apparatus with larger debris pick up
New and novel structure(s) for cleaning surfaces have been disclosed. The device may include: a wiping surface, which may be disposable; a brush roll/larger debris gathering mechanism; a local debris storage and/or staging area, and a larger remote debris storage structure. Additionally, there are mechanisms and structures disclosed for powering the brush roll, activating the brush roll from an out of use position to an in use position, and moving the waste from one area to another. The invention at hand uniquely and inventively improves upon the known devices in this field.

A robot cleaner comprising: a cleaner body including a wheel unit for autonomous traveling and a suction unit sucking air containing dust; a sensing unit disposed at one side of the cleaner body; a dust container accommodated in a dust container accommodation part formed at the other side of the cleaner body, the dust container collecting dust filtered from sucked air; and a dust container cover disposed to cover a top surface of the dust container, wherein an upper end of the sensing unit is formed at a position protruding upward from a top surface of the cleaner body and a top surface of the dust container cover.

FLOOR CLEANER
A sweeping tool includes an elongated handle having a proximal end and a distal end, a bracket coupled to the distal end of the elongated handle, and a cleaning assembly coupled to the bracket. The cleaning assembly is designed to rotate about an axis passing through a portion of the bracket. The cleaning assembly includes a housing designed to hold a rotatable brush head and to collect debris swept up by the rotatable brush head. The cleaning assembly also includes a broom head coupled to the housing and a plurality of bristles coupled to the broom head.
FLOOR CLEANER
A sweeping tool includes an elongated handle having a proximal end and a distal end, a bracket coupled to the distal end of the elongated handle, and a cleaning assembly coupled to the bracket. The cleaning assembly is designed to rotate about an axis passing through a portion of the bracket. The cleaning assembly includes a housing designed to hold a rotatable brush head and to collect debris swept up by the rotatable brush head. The cleaning assembly also includes a broom head coupled to the housing and a plurality of bristles coupled to the broom head.
Floor sweeper
A floor sweeper includes a housing which has a garbage cavity for containing garbage. The garbage cavity has an inlet allowing the garbage to enter the garbage cavity. A sweeping roller is disposed at the inlet of the garbage cavity, is rotatably connected to the housing and is able to sweep outside garbage into the garbage cavity. A sealing plate for opening/closing the inlet is disposed at the inlet of the garbage cavity. An ejector rod is vertically and movably connected to the housing, has an upper end connected to the sealing plate and is able to move vertically to drive the sealing plate to move. When floor sweeper cleans a floor, the ejector rod abuts against the floor and moves upwards to drive the sealing plate to move to open the inlet of the garbage cavity.
