A floor cleaning machine including an electrochemical cell having an anode, a cathode, an electrolyte, an electrochemical cell controller in at least one of unilateral and/or bilateral communication with at least one of the anode, the cathode, and the electrolyte, and wherein the electrochemical cell is associated with at least one of a recovery tank sub-assembly, a vacuum fan sub-assembly, a solution tank sub-assembly, a solution flow sub-assembly, a control console sub-assembly, at least one of a frame and wheel sub-assembly and a frame and transaxle sub-assembly, a scrub head sub-assembly, a scrub head lift sub-assembly, and a squeegee sub-assembly.

WET FLOOR DETECTION AND NOTIFICATION

Methods, systems and apparatus for providing a notification of a wet floor are provided. A scrubbing robot for scrubbing a floor and having one or more liquid carrying components has a sensor coupled to it positioned for collecting data about an area of the floor proximate to the scrubbing robot and along a path over which the robot has travelled. An application is stored on the computer for determining that liquid is on the floor by analysing the data for a presence of a second set of parameters corresponding to or crossing (from above to below or from below to above) a set of threshold parameters that is indicative of the presence of liquid on the floor. A notification module coupled to the scrubbing robot issues at least one of a human detectable and a computer detectable notification in response to the application determining that liquid is on the floor.

Robot cleaner and controlling method thereof

The present application relates to a robot cleaner. The robot cleaner of the present application includes: a main body which forms an external shape; a water tank which stores water; a rotation mop which is in contact with a floor while rotating and moves the main body; a drive motor which rotates the rotation mop; a motion detection unit which measures a reference motion of the main body when the rotation mop rotates; and a controller which measures a slip rate based on an actual speed of the main body measured by the motion detection unit in the reference motion and an ideal speed of the main body estimated according to driving of the drive motor, and controls an amount of water supplied to the rotation mop.

COMMUNICATIVE LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR A FLOOR CLEANING DEVICE

Robotic devices are provided that can be operated in an autonomous mode. In various embodiments, the devices comprise lighting elements that are capable of displaying information to humans within a robotic environment. A variety of future and near-future actions are expressed through different operations and sequences of the lighting elements. The lighting elements further enable the device to express a current status.
