The device (1) includes a reservoir (9) of solid compound (2), and a pump (13) configured to generate a circulating flow of the liquid (3) coming from the volume (3v) of liquid and passing through the reservoir (9) before returning to the volume (3v) of liquid. The device (1) includes a sensor (17) configured to generate a sensor signal indicative of a parameter of the volume (3v) of liquid or of a gaseous environment (4) of the device (1), and/or an antenna (18) configured to receive a radio signal, and to generate an antenna signal. The device (1) includes a microcontroller (19) configured to command the pump (13) and to regulate the circulating flow rate of the liquid (3) on the basis of the sensor signal and/or of the antenna signal.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR THE REMEDIATION OF AQUATIC FACILITIES
A system and method for controlling the accelerated remediation of aquatic facilities using at least one sanitizer sensor, a pH sensor, a temperature sensor and a chlorine dioxide sensor all interfaced with a programmable controller that is programmed to implement a remediation cycle and configured to calculate a Ct value, the sensors being in fluid contact with water of the aquatic facility, and the programmable controller is interfaced with a chemical feed system for supplying chlorine dioxide to the water.
Chemical testing
A testing device for testing the level of a selected chemical in central heating system water in a central heating system circuit comprises: a sample chamber for holding a sample of central heating system water, the sample chamber being connected to the central heating system circuit; means for controlling filling of the sample chamber with central heating system water from the central heating system circuit, and emptying of the sample chamber; at least one valve for isolating the sample of central heating system water from the heating circuit during testing; and optical testing apparatus including a light source and a detector, for measuring an optical property of the sample of central heating system water isolated within the sample chamber and thereby making a determination as to whether or not the level of the selected chemical in the water is greater than a predetermined threshold level.
Chemical dispensing system for treating fluid in boiler/cooling systems
Powered and non-powered kits for the treatment of fluid in boiler and cooling systems, both open and closed recirculating are disclosed. The kits generally include a fluid container, a fluid connector configured to engage the fluid container, a hose configured for fluid communication with the fluid connector, a port, a fluid container suspension means, and a hose end support member. The fluid container is configured to enclose chemical agents and/or solutions. The port may be formed along the fluid container and be configured to receive the fluid connector. The hose end support member may support at least one portion of the hose at a desired height above the standing fluid to be treated. In embodiments, a metering pump is included with the kits, the metering pump configured to cause a predetermined amount of the chemical agents or solutions to be dispersed from the fluid container.
CHLORINATOR DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
A chlorinator device for chlorinating water to a predetermined chlorination level with chlorine from a source of chlorine. The chlorinator device has an injector that creates a vacuum as water passes through the injector to draw chlorine from the source of chlorine into the injector and an adjustable chlorine flow meter positioned in fluid communication with and between the injector and the source of chlorine to adjust the flow rate of chlorine entering the injector to a predetermined rate.
Chemical dispensing system and method
A chemical dispensing system for delivering a chemical dose into a water resource is provided herein. The system includes a dispensing housing, a support feature, and an electrical circuit. The dispensing housing includes at least one compartment that is adapted to retain a chemical dose. The compartment is substantially sealable from an ambient environment that is outside of the compartment. The compartment is independently openable and closable to directly expose the compartment to the ambient environment and enable release of contents retained therein in the open position and to substantially prevent release of the contents retained therein in the closed position. The support feature facilitates suspension of the dispensing housing above a surface of the water resource. Opening of the compartment is controllable through the electrical circuit.
Surface water chemical injection system and method of use
A system for dispersing a chemical in a surface water body includes an aerator device, having an injector positioned at a bottom of the surface water body; and a holding tank to store the chemical adjacent to the surface water body; and a metering pump connected to the holding tank, the metering pump having a computing device to program the metering pump; the metering pump is programed to inject an amount of the chemical to the injector at a rate; and the injector disperses the chemical throughout the surface water body.
