Pool and spa water quality control system and method
A water quality management system for a water installation containing water. In some embodiments, the system has a water quality measurement module adapted to monitor the water quality of the water in the water installation and to send water quality information to a controller; and a chemical dispensing module adapted to dispense at least one chemical directly into the water installation in response to signals from the controller based on a water quality measurement by the water quality measurement module, the chemical dispensing module comprising a reservoir adapted to contain the at least one chemical, a movable dispenser adapted and configured to advance a fixed quantity of the chemical out of the reservoir and into the water of the water installation in response to signals from the controller.
Filterwell cartridges
A filterwell cartridge having ports for dispensing a dispersant directly into a filterwell of a hot tub, spa or the like with the filterwell cartridge peripherally and postionally supportable in a quick release mode through facial engagement of compound surfaces located on opposite sides of the filterwell cartridge.
COMPOSITION WITH A TIME RELEASE MATERIAL FOR REMOVING HALOGENATED HYDROCARBONS FROM CONTAMINATED ENVIRONMENTS
A composition for remediation of soil and groundwater containing halogenated compounds. The remediation composition includes an elemental iron-based composition, which may include activated carbon capable of absorbing the halogenated compounds with numerous pores impregnated with elemental iron. The remediation composition further includes a first bioremediation material including a blend of one-to-many organisms capable of degrading the halogenated compounds. The remediation composition includes an organic compound or polymeric substance and a second bioremediation material including a blend of one-to-many organisms capable of degrading the organic compound or polymeric substance over time (e.g., 20 to 365 or more days to provide a time release substrate-creating material or platform) into smaller molecules or compounds used by the organisms in the first bioremediation material while degrading the halogenated compounds. The organic compound may be a complex carbohydrate such as food grade starch, chitin, or other complex carbohydrate such as one with low water solubility.
WATER-SOLUBLE UNIT DOSE ARTICLES MADE FROM A COMBINATION OF DIFFERENT FILMS
The present disclosure relates to water-soluble unit dose articles made from a combination of chemically different water-soluble films and optionally containing compositions that are at least partially enclosed by the water-soluble films in at least one compartment.
Wastewater Filtration System
A flocculation system is provided including a vessel having an open top. The flocculation system also includes a sidewall comprised of a water-impermeable material. The flocculation system further includes a first bottom comprising the water-impermeable material. The flocculation system further includes a second bottom having a floc filter that passes flocs and prevents the passage of a cleaning tool. The flocculation system further includes a floc trap below the second bottom. The floc trap includes a space defined by the sidewall, the first bottom, and the floc filter. In some implementations, the flocculation system includes a flocculant disposed on the sidewall, the floc filter, or the first bottom.
Chemical release system
A feeding head assembly and a chemical release system for eliminating scale conditions and maintaining a neutral pH in potable water is disclosed. The feeding head assembly may include a composite membrane system comprising at least one semi-permeable layer and at least one filter layer. A chemical release system may include a cartridge or vessel. The cartridge may include a hollow body with two opposing open ends. A time-release pouch may be located within the hollow body and holds a composition that mixes with potable water to eliminate scale conditions and maintain a neutral pH in the potable water. A feeding head assembly may be coupled within the hollow body between the time-release pouch and one open end of the hollow body.
Reconfigurable spa filter treatment systems and methods for treating filtered water for spas and hot tubs
A method for treating water in a spa or a hot tub includes, for example, suspending a water treatment dispenser from an upper end of a filter cartridge disposed in a skimmer of the spa or the hot tub. The dispenser includes a water treatment material. A supply of water is passed from the spa or the hot tub into the skimmer and through the filter cartridge so that the dispenser suspended in the filtered water in the filter cartridge is operable to dispense the water treatment material from the dispenser, and a supply of treated filtered water from the filter cartridge is returned to the spa or the hot tub. A cover, for example, may be employed when the dispenser is not used.
HAIR TREATMENT SYSTEM, TREATMENTS AND APPARATUS
The present invention relates to hair treatment systems. More specifically the present invention relates to a treatment application apparatus, as well as a range of tablets and sprays for use with said apparatus.
FLOATING POOL DISPENSER
Exemplary embodiments of a floating pool dispenser are described. In one embodiment, a floating pool dispenser includes an outer assembly, an inner assembly, an end cover, and a lid. The inner assembly contains chemicals to be dissolved in a pool. The inner assembly moves vertically relative to the outer assembly in response to the continuous dissolving of chemicals.
Method of Use for Toilet Waste Material Treatment
A method for waste material treatment that results in a more stable, entombed treated waste product. A reactive treatment formulation can be dispensed with a waste material deposit into a self-contained non-contact agitating toilet to form a stabilized viscous mass. The reactive treatment formulation mixed with the waste material deposit prevents odors, bacterial growth, and stabilizes the waste material into a treated waste product to reduce spillage during disposal.
