The chlorine float is structured to have a variety of pre-determined ornamental features to enhance visual appeal of the chlorine float when the chlorine float is floating in the swimming pool. A plurality of light emitters is each of the light emitters is coupled to the bottom side of the chlorine float to illuminate the water in the swimming pool. A plurality of speakers is each coupled to the top side of the chlorine float to emit sound outwardly therefrom.
System and method for dissolving detergent tablets or granulate
The present invention relates to a system for dissolving at least one detergent tablet or detergent granulate in water and thereby creating a detergent liquid, said system comprising a chamber (103) for dissolving said tablets or granulate, wherein said chamber comprises an opening (105) for receiving said detergent tablet and said water and a detergent liquid outlet (135, 137). The chamber further comprises an inner colander (125) for positioning said at least one tablet or detergent granulate. Thereby, a very efficient dissolving process can be performed, and a uniform detergent liquid is obtained. By positioning the tablets or granulate inside the colander, it is ensured that all sides of the tablet are in contact with the liquid in the chamber.
Encapsulated reactant and process
An encapsulated reactant(s) having at least one encapsulant and at least one reactant, and methods of making and using the encapsulated reactant(s), are is presently provided. An outermost encapsulant is substantially nonreacting, impermeable and nondissolving with water. The reactant(s) contribute to at least one reaction with contaminants in environmental media rendering the environmental media less harmful.
MINERALIZATION CARTRIDGE AND METHOD FOR THE OPERATION THEREOF
The invention relates to a method for operating a water filter cartridge in a pipe, said water filter cartridge having a housing in the form of a pressure vessel, and an inlet and an outlet for water, characterized in that a main flow of water to which minerals are added is conducted through a main pipe inside the pressure vessel, and a dosing flow of concentrated salt solution is conducted through a dosing pipe, wherein the dosing pipe branches off from the main pipe and passes through a reservoir of constant volume and in which there is a concentrated salt solution consisting of sulphate salt, chloride salt and/or hydrogen carbonate salt, wherein the part of the dosing pipe extending from the reservoir leads into the main flow at a dosing point through a dosing opening with a constant flow cross-section, and wherein a resistance section which is situated upstream of the dosing point in the main flow is used to set the flow resistance in the main flow such that a pressure difference results between the main flow and the dosing flow and causes a volumetric flow rate of the dosing flow of salt solution which is substantially proportional to the main flow, through the dosing opening opening into the main flow.
SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR COMPREHENSIVE MONITORING, ANALYSIS AND MAINTENANCE OF WATER AND EQUIPMENT IN SWIMMING POOLS
The present invention provides a method for comprehensive monitoring, analysis and maintenance of water and equipment in swimming pools, said method implemented by one or more processors operatively coupled to a non-transitory computer readable storage device, on which are stored modules of instruction code that when executed cause the one or more processors to perform: accumulating and monitoring data from elements including at least one of: sensors, actuators, and breakers in and around the vicinity of the swimming pools; accumulating non-sensory data from a plurality of sources at a local processing unit; propagating the data to an online remote server, applying machine learning or rule based algorithms at the online remote server configured to incorporate all the acquired data and obtain an optimal policy for pool maintenance by providing recommendations, control parameters, and providing an online interface to access said recommendation/control parameters for at least one of pool owners, pool servicemen, pool maintenance companies, pool vendors and pool retail dealers.
WATER MONITORING DEVICE WITH REPLACEABLE REAGENT CARTRIDGE
A water monitoring device monitors and maintains swimming pool chemistry. The device mixes reagents with water in flowcells. The water chemistry is detected by measuring the light transmitted through the flowcells. The water monitoring device can communicate with computers, servers and mobile computing devices which can store and display the water chemistry information. The reagents can be stored in a replaceable reagent cartridge which can provide reagents for water testing and can be replaced when the reagents need to be replenished.
SILVER ION BIOCIDE DELIVERY SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES
Systems and methods for delivering silver ion biocide are described herein. The systems described relate to passing water from a water system through a silver ion release module and optional high-concentration silver ion release module. The system includes an analyzer, detector, and/or controller for monitoring the concentration of silver ion and adjusting the flow path, flow rate, temperature and/or pH of the water in order to obtain the desired concentration of silver ion. The system optionally includes other metal ions released into a water system, the concentration of which may be used to automatically calibrate the described system and/or cause the system to take actions based on the measured concentration of silver ion or of the second metal ion. The system comprises a material that may be advantageous for silver ions in the systems.
Water Purification Apparatus, Purification Module Therefor and Method
A water purification apparatus (10) is provided for dispensing pure water which comprises a main apparatus body (12) having at least one main fluid inlet (26) and at least one main fluid outlet (28), and a dispensing element (20) for dispensing pure water from the water purification apparatus (10). A purification module (18) is then also provided which is releasably engagable with the main apparatus body (12). This purification module (18) comprises a plurality of water purification sub-modules, an inlet manifold (76a) in fluid communication with (lie plurality of water purification sub-modules and which is connectable to the at least one main fluid outlet (28) of the main apparatus body (12), and an outlet manifold (76b) which is fluidly engagable with the dispensing element (20).
Apparatus for introducing an agent into a liquid or gas at a controlled rate
The present invention provides an agent dispenser for use in introducing an agent into a fluid where the agent is miscible with such fluid. The agent dispenser comprises a hollow casing constructed of a material having a coefficient of cubical expansion that differs from the coefficient of cubical expansion of the fluid. At least one opening is provided in the hollow casing for permitting the flow of the fluid to and from the interior of the hollow casing. The opening is provided with a tube sealed in the opening, one end of the tube being contained within the hollow casing and the second end of the tube being exterior to the hollow casing for communication with the surrounding fluid. The second end of the tube is provided with a filter membrane having a defined pore size to prevent any debris which may be present in the fluid from blocking the second end or entering the hollow casing. The dispenser contains the agent and the agent is introduced into the fluid through fluid drawn into and expelled from said dispenser as a result of variations in the internal pressure of the dispenser resulting from thermal expansion and contraction of the dispenser and its contents caused by variations in the temperature of the fluid surrounding the dispenser.
