A low-pressure distribution system configured to pressurize effluent and distribute it throughout pressure conduits disposed within drainage conduits. The low-pressure distribution system may pressurize the effluent such that it is dispersed along a substantial portion or the entirety of the length of the pressure conduits and/or drainage conduits. To that end, the low-pressure distribution system may ensure an efficient distribution of the effluent throughout the drainage conduits while retaining an effluent flow rate therein suitable for the growth of microbial water treating bacteria.

Combination biological contactor and self-backwashing filter systems

A combination biological contactor and self-backwashing filter system for water treatment is disclosed. The system may include a treatment vessel defining an upper chamber and a lower chamber. A biological contactor may be disposed within the upper chamber, and a filter may be disposed in the lower chamber. A contactor outlet conduit and inlet manifold may be used to transfer water from the biological contactor to filter cells within the filter.

METHOD FOR OPTIMIZATION OF FILTRATION IN AN AQUACULTURE SYSTEM

A method for optimizing filtration in an aquaculture system. The method for optimizing filtration includes, taking at least one sample of matter from an aquaculture system, defining at least one predetermined characteristic to test the sample of matter for, testing the at least one sample of matter, determining if the at least one predetermined characteristic is present within the sample, modifying resource distribution within the aquaculture system, taking at least two samples of matter within the aquaculture system, re-defining at least one predetermined characteristic to test the at least two samples of matter for, testing the at least two samples of matter, determining if the re-defined at least one predetermined characteristic is present within the at least two samples of matter and ensuring the filtration system will retain a state of optimization.

Liquid flow distribution system

A liquid flow distribution system comprises a flow chamber and a rotor. The flow chamber has a flow chamber inlet, a flow chamber outlet and a chamber flow path extending from the flow chamber inlet to the flow chamber outlet. The flow chamber path is curved so as to generate a generally vortical flow in liquid passing through the chamber flow path. The rotor has a plurality of rotor blades rotatably mounted about a rotor axis. The rotor is mounted in proximity to the flow chamber outlet and positioned such that a flow of liquid exiting the flow chamber outlet impacts one or more of the rotor blades to rotationally drive the rotor. Rotational driving of the rotor in turn disperses liquid impacting the rotor blades.

A microbiological culture apparatus of a wastewater treatment system includes a cage, a spacing device received in the cage, and a plurality of culture woods vertically received in the cage and positioned by the spacing device. The spacing device restricts the culture woods in an upright status and spaces them from each other to form a passageway between each two of the neighboring culture woods. Wastewater flows through the passageways to have low temperature and high dissolved oxygen.

Combination of trickling filter and aeration tank of wastewater treatment system

A wastewater treatment system includes an aeration tank under a plurality of trickling filters to receive wastewater from the trickling filters. A plurality of bacteria culture modules are received in each trickling filters. A plurality of blower devices and air pipes are provided to generate ventilation to cool the wastewater flowing out of the bacteria culture modules. Each of the bacteria culture modules has a cage in which a plurality of culture woods are vertically received. Therefore, a temperature of the wastewater is reduced to form an environment which is good to the bacteria.

STABLILIZER BEARING FOR MAST OF ROTARY DISTRIBUTOR

A split stabilizer bearing for a mast of a rotary distributor includes a split cylindrical housing, a split filament wound bushing, a plurality of polytetrafluoroethylene-coated carbon fiber ring seals, an annular split seal retainer, and multiple fasteners.
