A method for modifying a wastewater treatment device, the method including: 1) fixing a filling support in a wastewater pool, where the filling support includes a support frame; the support frame includes a hollow shaft, a fixed ring, and at least one vane; 2) adjusting the height of the filling support, until the fixed ring is submerged below the liquid level of the wastewater pool, where the water intake velocity of the wastewater pool is no less than 0.25 m/s, whereby a water current is produced and drives the support frame to rotate; 3) adding a functional liquid into the hollow shaft; and 4) adding an enzyme mixture to the hollow shaft when the rotation speed of the support frame is less than a first preset value, until the rotation speed of the support frame reaches a second preset value.

TREATMENT USING FIXED FILM PROCESSES AND BALLASTED SETTLING

A system and method is provided for water and wastewater treatment. The system comprises a fixed film biological process and a ballasted flocculation process.

Water treatment aerator having bubble diffuser

An aerator assembly for wastewater treatment includes a draft tube and an air supply assembly. The draft tube includes a sidewall and presents open top and bottom tube ends. The air supply assembly includes an air supply conduit and a diffuser body. The diffuser body has an inlet aperture and a bubble generator connected to the inlet. The inlet aperture is connected to the air supply conduit such that the bubble generator receives air from a source of air, to which the air supply conduit is connected. The bubble generator has a plurality of air openings for generating fine air bubbles. The diffuser body is sealingly engaged to the sidewall adjacent the bottom tube end so as restrict upward flow of wastewater through the draft tube past the diffuser body.

A wastewater treatment apparatus has a tank with an access opening, at least one fixed film media pod positioned in the interior of the tank, a diffuser positioned in the interior of the tank, and an air pump connected to the diffuser. The fixed film media pod is formed of a polymeric material and has openings framed by the polymeric material. The diffuser is adapted to aerate liquid in the interior of the tank. The media pod has a tubular structure extending vertically in the interior of the tank and positioned above the bottom of the tank. Floats are attached to the top of the media pod so as to suspend the media pod in the liquid in the tank.

RESIDENTIAL WATER TREATMENT AND RECYCLE SYSTEM

Water treatment structures may have at least a first geotextile fabric layer; a second geotextile fabric layer; a third geotextile fabric layer; a first filler layer with plastic particles, arranged between the first and second geotextile fabric layers; and a second filler layer with plastic particles, arranged between the second and third geotextile fabric layers, wherein the geotextile fabric layers and the filler layers are within a housing, and wherein the structure is configured such that contaminated water proceeds sequentially through the first geotextile fabric layer, the first filler layer, the second geotextile fabric layer, the second filler layer, and the third geotextile fabric layer. Methods of treating wastewater may involve passing wastewater, after optional oxygenating and pre-filtering, through such alternating layers of geotextile, preferably nonwoven, and polymer particles.
