Systems, methods, and apparatuses are disclosed relating to onsite subsurface wastewater treatment systems and components thereof. Such systems may include a manifold of a subsurface wastewater treatment system. The manifold may further include a front wall and a rear wall, an internal cavity between the front wall and the rear wall, and a length. The manifold may further include one or more conduit port extending from the rear wall, a first connector port configured at one end of the manifold and defining an opening connected to said internal cavity, and a second connector port configured at an opposite end of the manifold and defining an opening connected to said internal cavity. The manifold may be incorporated into a subsystem or system for subsurface treatment of wastewater along with one or more conduits configured to receive and disperse wastewater.

Oxygen infusion module for wastewater treatment

This application relates to an oxygen infusion module for a system and method of treating wastewater wherein an oxygen infusion system is used to supersaturate wastewater before aerobic biological processes, wherein oxygen is transferred to the wastewater free of oxygen bubbles and achieves a reduction in power demand for the aeration process of wastewater.

POLYHEDRAL SPHERICAL DENITRIFYING PACKING AND USE METHOD THEREOF

Provided are a polyhedral spherical denitrifying packing and a use method thereof. An outer surface of the polyhedral spherical denitrifying packing is composed of a plurality of conical pieces, and each of the conical pieces has a vacancy. The method for using the packing above includes: placing the polyhedral spherical denitrifying packing in packing area; adding inoculation sludge into the packing area, and forming biofilm; feeding raw sewage into the packing area through a water inlet of the denitrification reactor, subjecting the sewage to denitrification reaction when flowing through the packing area with the biofilm; refeeding a part of sewage discharged from the packing area into the packing area through the water inlet of the denitrification reactor via a circulating tube; making the other part of the sewage discharged from the packing area flow into clarification area, and discharging through a water outlet of the denitrification reactor.

Method and Systems for Advanced Bioelectrochemical Treatment of Pollutants

The aspects of embodiments of the invention relate to advanced bioelectrochemical systems. More specifically, the invention relates to the utilization of a power source such as, but not limited to, photo-active, semiconducting materials, batteries, or the like integrated with bioelectrochemical systems perhaps to increase oxidation and/or reduction reactions, which can be applied to the treatment of pollutants environmental media such as but not limited to water, wastewater, soil, and other water-containing environment.

MULTI-ZONE PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING WASTEWATER

Wastewater containing organic matter may be treated using a multi-zone apparatus. In a first zone, organic matter in the wastewater may, among other things, be converted to at least volatile fatty acids (VFAs) and, thereafter, a portion of the treated wastewater may flow to a second zone that may, among other things, convert the VFAs to methane.

Stormwater Treatment System

A linear stormwater treatment system is provided. The system utilizes plant growth in a medium to treat storm water and other runoff water. The medium is contained in a non-permeable container having an inlet for stormwater and an outlet for treated water. Root zone growth and the medium itself operate to filter and purify the stormwater, and contain the contaminants, providing controlled and environmentally friendly water treatment.

System for Treating Sewage
20190077684 · 2019-03-14 ·

A sewage treatment system uses a multi-stage process to treat waste materials. Sewage is contained in a first tank, from which liquid waste is filtered and transferred to a second tank, where the first tank retains solid waste. The second tank may contain a plurality of chambers, with the chambers connected using ports for fluid communication. Liquid waste in the second tank undergoes aerobic digestion, where an aeration device may aid in the digestion process. The second tank may also include a UV light source to reduce bacteria. The treated liquid from the second tank may be clean enough to be discharged directly into a leach field which would not meet standards for conventional leach fields.

Method for the treatment of industrial waste

There is provided a method for treating spent metal working fluid (MWF), comprising the steps of: (a) providing a biofilm of microorganisms on a solid support matrix in a first bioreactor; (b) transferring at least a portion of the solid support matrix comprising the biofilm of microorganisms from the first bioreactor into a second bioreactor; and (c) incubating the microorganisms in the second bioreactor to reduce the chemical oxygen demand of the spent MWF contained therein.
