IRRADIATION APPARATUS AND FLUID STERILIZATION METHOD
An irradiation apparatus is provided with: a straight pipe that is formed of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE); and a light source that is arranged at an end portion of the straight pipe and that irradiates the inside of the straight pipe with ultraviolet light. The light source has a light emitting device that emits ultraviolet light and an adjustment mechanism that adjusts the direction of the ultraviolet light such that the ultraviolet light from the light emitting device becomes incident on the internal wall surface of the straight pipe at an incident angle of 75 degrees or more.
SYSTEM SEPARATION DEVICE
A system separation device with at least one pressure-proof tank for containing a liquid that forms a predetermined liquid level in the tank, above which level there is a gas cushion. The device contains an inlet in the upper region of the tank for fluidly feeding the tank from a first fluid system, and an outlet in the lower region of the tank for forwarding the liquid to a second fluid system. To prevent the germ-infestation of the inlet, at least one germicide material is arranged in the region of a gas cushion above the liquid level
Personal System and Apparatus for Sanitizing Water
A portable fluid-sanitizing system and assembly configured for personal use are provided. The system and assembly combine mechanical and electrical methods for removing and/or deactivating harmful chemicals, molecules, atoms, ions, and even microorganisms from fluid. The system and assembly comprise a hand-holdable container that is sized to receive a filter, such as an activated carbon block capable of adsorbing or otherwise capturing a variety of undesirable contents from the fluid. Ultraviolet lights may be disposed along an inner or outer portion of the container and placed so that their emissions penetrate any fluid contents of the container. Finally, means for electrically powering the lights may be provided. The means may be mechanically operated, such as by mechanically inducing a current in a coiled wire, or by hand-cranking a dynamo in electrical communication with the lights. Thus harmful or undesirable contents may be physically filtered and further irradiated to provide potable water.
HUMIDIFIER
Provided is a humidifier. The humidifier includes a sterilizer for sterilizing water stored in a tray.
Air cleaning fountain
A fountain is provided. The fountain includes: a drape; a catch basin located below the drape and oriented to catch a fluid flowing at least one of over and through the drape; a conduit fluidly connected to the catch basin forming a circuit to return the fluid in the catch basin to flow at least one of over and through the drape; a pump fluidly connected to the circuit and configured to pump the fluid through the conduit; and at least one of the drape, catch basin, conduit includes surface oriented to contact the fluid and the surface includes at least one of copper and silver.
Sterilization module, water purification device, and system comprising water purification device
In one aspect, a sterilization apparatus is provided to include a flow channel body comprising an inflow unit configured to provide an inflow channel through which water flows in one direction, a discharge unit configured to provide a discharge channel through which water is discharged, and a bypass channel unit configured to provide a bypass channel through which water bypasses in a different direction from the direction of the water flowing in the inflow unit; a mounting unit formed on the flow channel body and configured to provide an installation space connected to the bypass channel, a UV light emitting unit disposed in the installation space and configured to emit UV light towards the bypass channel; and a holder coupled to the mounting unit and securing the UV light emitting unit inside the mounting unit.
Ultraviolet light for sump water treatment
A sump sanitizing system is provided including a UV energy source within a sump tank. The UV energy source may be a light bulb or tube that is submersed in the collected groundwater water within the sump tank. The light bulb or tube may be self contained and waterproof, and may utilized light emitting diodes (LED), or other functional similar UV producing mechanism. For new sump installations the system may be integrated within the other operational components and controls utilized for water removal. For aftermarket installations, a UV source may be fixed to or mounted within an existing sump tank in a manner so as to not interfere with the systems other operations. An electrical power supply may be in communication with the UV source. Power may be communicated in a constant manner, or controlled for intermittent operation with a timer or other type of controller.
Ultraviolet Transparent Enclosure
A solution for disinfecting a fluid, colloid, mixture, and/or the like using ultraviolet radiation is provided. An ultraviolet transparent enclosure can include an inlet and an outlet for a flow of media to be disinfected. The ultraviolet transparent enclosure includes a material that is configured to prevent biofouling within the ultraviolet transparent enclosure. A set of ultraviolet radiation sources are located adjacent to the ultraviolet transparent enclosure and are configured to generate ultraviolet radiation towards the ultraviolet transparent enclosure.
Method for inducing continuous separation of copper ions from copper using UV-light source
A method for inducing continuous separation of copper ions from copper using UV-light source, comprising the following steps: (1) cutting apiece of copper into wires or slices for immersing into a vessel containing water; switching on a stirrer for stirring the water continuously and keeping the copper being immersed in the water; (2) turning on the UV-light source for irradiating the copper and the water continuously; appearing a large amount of white precipitate in the water; (3) filtering the solution; detecting the filtered solution, a certain concentration copper ions in the filtered solution are found; adding hydrochloric acid by drops into the unfiltered original solution, the white precipitate is dissolved and copper ions are detected. The invention makes the copper separate out copper ions continuously and can be applied to copper ion disinfection for swimming-pool water, scenic water and cooling water, etc.
