The present disclosure provides a surface cleaning apparatus that includes a steam delivery system for steam mopping a floor surface after sweeping dry dirt, dust, hair, and other debris from the floor surface. The surface cleaning apparatus can be configured to perform multiple cleaning functions, including dry sweeping and steam mopping. The surface cleaning apparatus can be convertible between different modes of operation, including at least an upright mode and a handheld mode.

A floor cleaning tool including a housing, a reservoir that is coupled to the housing and that contains a cleaning solution, and a resiliently deformable plate that is coupled to the housing. The plate defines apertures that are fluidly coupled to the reservoir, and the apertures are oriented to deposit cleaning solution onto a surface. The plate is removable from the housing.

New and novel structure(s) for cleaning surfaces have been disclosed. The device may include: a wiping surface, which may be disposable; a brush roll/larger debris gathering mechanism: a wiping surface, which may be disposable; a brush roll/larger debris gathering mechanism; a local debris storage and/or staging area, and a larger remote debris storage structure. Additionally, there are mechanisms and structures disclosed for powering the brush roll, activating the brush roll from an out of use position to an in use position, and moving the waste from one area to another. The invention at hand uniquely and inventively improves upon the known devices in this field.

A cleaning head for a cleaning machine that cleans a surface includes a housing defining a bottom that faces the surface to be cleaned, and a top spaced above the bottom. A brushroll positioned near the bottom of the housing to engage the surface during operation. The brushroll is releaseably connected to the housing; the brushroll is removable in an upward direction from the top of the housing. A suction nozzle has an inlet that draws debris from the surface into the suction nozzle. The suction nozzle is releaseably connected to the housing; the suction nozzle is removable in a downward direction from the bottom of the housing.

A floor cleaning machine including a handle that pivots relative to a base about a pivot axis. A recovery tank is coupled to the handle in fluid communication with a suction motor assembly to receive and store fluid and dirt drawn through a suction nozzle. The floor cleaning machine further includes an expandable hose fluidly communicating the recovery tank and the suction nozzle. The hose is in an expanded configuration when the handle is pivoted about the pivot axis to a reclined position. The hose is in a retracted configuration when the handle is pivoted about the pivot axis to a substantially upright position. The hose at least partially wraps around the pivot axis with the pivot axis being between a portion of the hose wrapped around the pivot axis and the surface being cleaned in the expanded and the retracted configurations.

A portable extractor includes a supply tank, a recovery tank, a pump in fluid communication with the supply tank, a suction source in fluid communication with the recovery tank, a base configured to support the suction source and the pump, and a main housing mounted on the base and housing the suction source and the pump. The main housing is configured to removably support the recovery tank and the supply tank. The recovery tank is arranged at a front side of the portable extractor and the supply tank is arranged at a lateral side of the portable extractor between the front side and the rear side.

A sweeping and mopping integrated machine comprises a sweeping and mopping assembly, a collection assembly, a water spraying assembly, and a handle, wherein the water spraying assembly is provided on the handle or the sweeping and mopping assembly, and comprises a water storage assembly and a nozzle assembly; the water spraying assembly is configured to spray, through the nozzle assembly, water or a cleaning liquid in the water storage assembly onto a working surface to be swept and mopped; the sweeping and mopping assembly comprises a motor and a drum-type working portion which is rotatable when driven by the motor; and the sweeping and mopping assembly is configured to sweep and mop the working surface and bring garbage and liquid on the working surface into the collection assembly through the rotation of the drum-type working portion.

Hand-guided treatment device for walkable surfaces adapted to clean, sanitize and dry such surfaces, including a guiding body joined below, through an articulated element to a unit for cleaning, sanitizing and drying such surfaces, the guiding body having housed inside it at least a control and command electronic circuit board powered by at least an electrical transformer, at least a first reservoir and at least an electrical pump. A device for hot cleaning of various types of surfaces, such as floors, tiled wall, large windows, mirrors, large household appliances, etc. The device includes a core body, including a steam generator and dispenser, suitable to generate steam under pressure and at high temperature, a metal heating plate with an heating element, a metal heated lower base to support and heat a cleaning cloth, a first valve, such as for example a solenoid valve, a second valve, such as for example a solenoid valve, a series of nozzles, a series of steam dispensers, and provided at the top with an articulated joint, a long hollow stiff thermally insulated element, such as a cylindrical tube, an ergonomic control and command system hollow along the length, and a hose.

A floor cleaner includes an electrically powered component and a power switch. The power switch includes a button including an actuator surface and a wall that extends away from the actuator surface. The power switch further includes a frame, the button movable relative to the frame to operate the power switch. The frame includes an inner wall that defines a button aperture, the button extending into the button aperture, an outer wall, a fluid outlet, and a fluid collection surface between the inner wall and the outer wall that directs fluid on the fluid collection surface toward the fluid outlet. The wall of the button is received in a gap between the inner wall and the outer wall of the frame so that fluid is directed along the wall of the button to the fluid collection surface and inhibited from passing through the button aperture.
