A floor cleaning machine including a base including a suction nozzle and a distribution nozzle, a handle pivotably coupled to the base about a pivot axis, a supply tank assembly coupled to the handle, and a suction motor assembly in fluid communication with the suction nozzle. The floor cleaning machine further includes a recovery tank coupled to the handle in fluid communication with the suction motor assembly to receive and store fluid and dirt drawn through the suction nozzle and an expandable hose fluidly communicating the recovery tank and the suction nozzle. The hose is in an expanded configuration when the handle is pivoted to a substantially upright position and the hose is in a retracted configuration when the handle is pivoted about the pivot axis to a reclined position and the hose at least partially wraps around the pivot axis in the expanded and the retracted configurations.

A surface treatment head (10) for a surface treatment tool, the surface treatment head (10) comprising: a movable surface treatment element (12) configured to engage a surface to be treated, and a driving means (14) comprising a motor (16) configured to drive the movable surface treatment element (12) to effect cleaning of said surface; wherein a rear edge (21) of the movable surface treatment element (12) with respect to a treatment direction (24) of the surface treatment head (10) comprises a first end, a second end and a middle portion located between the first and second ends, wherein the middle portion of the rear edge (21) projects rearwards of the first and second ends of the rear edge in the treatment direction (24).

Provided is a surface treatment tool including an elongate body. The elongate body includes a first end having a handle with a first handgrip portion and a second end distal the first end configured to be coupled a surface treatment head. The surface treatment tool also includes a fluid outlet configured to apply fluid to a surface to be treated, and a surface treatment head configured to engage a surface to be treated and comprising a suction region configured to suck fluid from a surface to be treated. The elongate body includes a fluid tank in fluid communication with the fluid outlet; a waste tank in fluid communication with the suction region and configured to collect fluid removed from a surface to be treated via the suction region; and a power source configured to supply power to the surface treatment tool.

The present disclosure provides a surface cleaning apparatus that includes a fluid delivery system for mopping a floor surface after sweeping debris from the floor surface. The surface cleaning apparatus can have a brushroll, a collection bin that receives dirt and liquid swept by the brushroll, and a cleanout member configured to empty the collection bin and mechanically remove dirt and liquid accumulated on one or more internal surfaces of the base.

A surface cleaning apparatus includes a heated vapor generator for generating steam and a supply tank for containing a supply of fluid. A liquid conduit that is in fluid communication with the supply tank is in heat exchange relationship with a vapor conduit that is in fluid communication with the heated vapor generator.

An autonomous floor-traversing robot includes: a wheeled body including a chassis and at least one motorized wheel configured to propel the chassis across a floor, the chassis defining an interior compartment disposed beneath a chassis ceiling; a cover extending across at least a central area of the chassis ceiling; and a graspable handle connected to the chassis and located outside the cover so as to be accessible from above the robot, the handle arranged to enable lifting of the robot. The chassis ceiling defines drainage channels configured to conduct the liquid away from the central area of the chassis ceiling.

A cleaning robot includes a housing including a cover, a base and a pair of lateral plates, a cleaning device and a driver. The cleaning device is mounted on the base to form a tilt angle with ground and includes a connecting member and a cleaning member connected to the connecting member. The cleaning member includes a water storage room mounted on the connecting member and a cleaning portion connected to the water storage room. The driver is mounted on the base and tightly fixed with the connecting member for driving the connecting member to rotate so that the cleaning member is following rotating with the connecting member. The cleaning portion can clean water marks or grease marks on the ground during the cleaning member rotation. Thus, users are not required to clean water marks or grease marks on the ground, thereby the convenience of users is improved.

A surface cleaning machine is provided, including a cleaning roller holder, at least one cleaning roller which is arranged on the cleaning roller holder, a drive device for driving the at least one cleaning roller in rotation, and a sweeping element which is associated with the at least one cleaning roller and which feeds swept material to the at least one cleaning roller, wherein the sweeping element, at least during a cleaning operation, projects with a front region into a jacket of the at least one cleaning roller, wherein a front face end of the sweeping element is arranged on the front region.

New and novel structure(s) for cleaning surfaces have been disclosed. The device may include: a wiping surface, which may be disposable; a brush roll/larger debris gathering mechanism: a wiping surface, which may be disposable; a brush roll/larger debris gathering mechanism; a local debris storage and/or staging area, and a larger remote debris storage structure. Additionally, there are mechanisms and structures disclosed for powering the brush roll, activating the brush roll from an out of use position to an in use position, and moving the waste from one area to another. The invention at hand uniquely and inventively improves upon the known devices in this field.

A surface-cleaning machine is provided, which includes an appliance body on which a suction apparatus device is arranged, a cleaning head on which at least one cleaning roller is arranged, and a drive device for driving the at least one cleaning roller in rotation, wherein the cleaning head has, between a first face side and an oppositely situated second face side, a first region, a second region and a central region situated between the first and second regions, and wherein at least one first suction mouth is positioned at the first region and associated with the at least one cleaning roller and at least one second suction mouth is positioned at the second region and associated with the at least one cleaning roller, wherein the at least one first suction mouth and the at least one second suction mouth are fluidically connected to the suction apparatus device.
