A portable surface cleaning apparatus for a floor surface includes a recovery tank and a supply tank separated by a partition, and further includes a carry handle defining a handle grip spaced above the supply and recovery tanks, wherein the handle grip does not intersect the supply tank or the recovery tank.

ROTARY BRUSH SCOOPER DEVICE
20170156561 · 2017-06-08 ·

A rotary brush scooper device for scooping, sweeping and picking up loose material from a ground surface includes a base housing which includes an interconnected pair of wheels, drive assembly, and rotary brush member, as well as a lower shelf, a receptacle area, and handle portion. Positioned under the brush member, in front of the receptacle area, the lower shelf extends below the base housing such that it is adjacent to a ground surface over which the rotary brush scooper device is rolling and operative to lift loose material present off the ground surface as it passes thereover. Through action of the drive assembly, the rotation of the wheels as the rotary brush scooper device is rolled along the ground surface in a forward direction causes the brush member to be rotated in a sweeping direction, thereby sweeping loose material on the lower shelf into the receptacle area.

SURFACE TREATING MACHINE WITH AUTOMATIC DRIVE
20170143177 · 2017-05-25 ·

The present invention is a machine for treating a surface lying in an XY plane. The machine includes a body having a body plate, a cleaning plate, a cleaning pad, a drive assembly and an attachment assembly. The cleaning plate is located between the body plate and the XY plane. The drive assembly is connected to the cleaning plate to drive the cleaning plate with a cleaning vibration in an oscillating pattern parallel to the XY plane and producing a drive force for driving the machine over the XY-plane.

Autonomous planar surface cleaning robot
09655484 · 2017-05-23 · ·

Autonomous planar surface cleaning robots are disclosed. The robot includes a main body having a bottom portion defining an outer portion defining a surface area about a perimeter thereof and an inner portion defining a cavity formed within the outer portion. The main body supports a driving mechanism, a vacuum source, a vacuum sensor, and a control unit. The vacuum source, cavity, and vacuum sensor are in fluid communication. The control unit is electrically coupled to the driving mechanism, the vacuum source, and the vacuum sensor, and is configured to control the robot to turn direction when the control unit receives a signal from the vacuum sensor indicating that a degree of vacuum pressure within the cavity is below a predetermined vacuum pressure. Also disclosed is robot that includes multiple vacuum sources. Also disclosed is an apparatus that includes a connector pole.

FLOOR CLEANING TOOL AND METHOD

A floor cleaning tool including a housing, a reservoir coupled to the housing and adapted to hold a cleaning solution, and a floor-engaging roller coupled to the housing and rotatable with respect to the housing. The tool also includes a wheel by which the floor cleaning tool moves across a floor surface in a direction of travel at least partially defining a front, rear, and lateral sides of the floor cleaning tool. The tool further includes a squeegee laterally insertable between the roller and the wheel, and a squeegee mount located between the roller and the wheel by which the squeegee is releasably mounted to the floor cleaning tool by first and second laterally opposed protrusions rotatably secured within first and second apertures at opposite ends of the squeegee.

Surface cleaning apparatus

A cleaning apparatus for a floor surface includes a recovery tank having a lower portion, an air/liquid separator for separating liquid from air in a debris-containing fluid, and a mechanical coupling removably coupling the air/liquid separator to the lower portion of the recovery tank, wherein the mechanical coupling permits selective detachment of the air/liquid separator from the recovery tank.

SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
20170086635 · 2017-03-30 ·

A surface cleaning apparatus includes a fluid delivery system having a manifold with a plurality of release openings for delivering a cleaning fluid to the surface to be cleaned. The manifold further includes an elongated hollow tube with at least one open end and at least one plug closing the at least one open end of the tube

Floor machine with attachment system
12239271 · 2025-03-04 · ·

The floor machine provides an attachment system capable of securing a handle to the floor machine at multiple locations. A handle storing a power source, such as batteries, attaches to the housing to power the motor. A housing of the floor machine provides two attachment bodies located on the exterior of two different walls of the housing. By securing the handle to the different attachment points, the user can configure the footprint of the floor machine to increase the user's access to narrower and/or smaller confined areas. The power source electrically connects to the motor at a powering location separate from the attachment location of the handle to the housing. The distinct attachment location and powering locations enables different attachments of the handle to the housing.
