A nozzle for a cleaner has a nozzle housing, and first and second rotation cleaning units arranged on a lower side of the nozzle housing and spaced apart from each other. Each of the first and second rotation cleaning units includes a rotation plate coupled to a mop. The nozzle includes a first driving device having a first driving motor to drive the first rotation cleaning unit and a second driving device having a second driving motor to drive the second rotation cleaning unit. Further, the nozzle has a water tank mounted on the nozzle housing to store water. The nozzle housing includes driving unit covers arranged to surround each of the driving devices. At least one of the driving unit covers includes a first protruding surface, and a second protruding surface positioned higher than the first protruding surface.

A surface cleaning apparatus has a surface cleaning head and an upper portion moveably mounted to the surface cleaning head between a storage position and a floor cleaning position, the upper portion has upper portion laterally extending members. An above floor cleaning wand is removably receivable in air flow communication with the upper portion. The wand has wand laterally extending members, wherein, when the wand is received in air flow communication with the upper portion and the upper portion is in the storage position, the wand has a lower end and an upper end spaced from the lower end along a wand axis and the wand laterally extending members are positioned above the upper portion laterally extending members. A portable surface cleaning unit is removably mounted to the upper portion wherein, when the portable surface cleaning unit is mounted to the upper portion and the upper portion is in the storage position, the upper portion has lower mounting members which engage the upper portion laterally extending members and upper mounting members which engage the wand laterally extending members.

An upright surface cleaning apparatus is has a portable surface cleaning unit removably mounted to an upper portion that is pivotally mounted to a surface cleaning head. The surface cleaning apparatus is operable in a floor cleaning mode in which the portable surface cleaning unit is mounted to the upper portion and the above floor cleaning wand is inserted in an open upper end of the upper portion. The surface cleaning apparatus is also operable in an above floor cleaning mode in which the portable surface cleaning unit is mounted to the upper portion and the above floor cleaning wand is removed from the open upper end of the upper portion. A system is comprised of a floor processing device, an object located in the environment of the floor processing device, which has a partial object area and a displacement device for automatically displacing the partial object area, a detection device, which is suitable for detecting a presence of the floor processing device in a detection area of the detection device, and a control device for generating a control command for the displacement device as a function of the detection result of the detection device. In order to prevent a collision with the floor processing device given automatic displacement devices of objects, the control command is suitable for deactivating the displacement device, thereby preventing a displacement of the partial object area even if the floor processing device is present in the detection area.

The hand vacuum cleaner is downwardly removably mountable to the mounting apparatus and the first and second engagement members are slideably interengagable. As the hand vacuum cleaner is moved downwardly to be mounted to the mounting apparatus, the first and second engagement members slideably interengage.

A nozzle for a cleaner has a nozzle main body including an intake channel to suction air. The nozzle includes first and second rotary cleaning units spaced apart from each other in a lateral direction under the nozzle main body. Each of the first and second rotary cleaning units includes a rotary plate coupled to a dust cloth. The nozzle has a water pump and a pump motor to drive the water pump to pump the water to the dust cloth.
