APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ALIGNING SCORING NEEDLES AND FOR SCORING GLASS SUBSTRATES
A method is provided for aligning scoring tools and for scoring glass, in particular thin glass, along predetermined scoring lines in preparation for breaking along the score. Glass substrates, in particular thin glass substrates, produced by such method are also provided. The method includes the determination of the actual orientation of the cutting edge of the scoring tool and aligning of the cutting edge to a target orientation of the cutting edge.

A method is provided for scoring glasses. The method includes the steps of generating a deep crack in the glass along an intended separation line by exerting pressure onto the glass surface using a rigid scoring tool, wherein the scoring tool, by being pressed against the glass surface and due to the advancement force while introducing the deep crack generates a zone of elastic strain in the glass in a direction along the glass surface and perpendicular to the separation line, which extends in an arc in the plane defined by the separation line perpendicular to the glass surface such that one leg of the arc is located close to the contact point of the scoring tool on the glass surface and another leg is located inside the glass. The arc being open towards the advancement/advancement direction of the scoring tool.

A method is provided for scoring glasses. PANEL CUTTING APPARATUS
A panel cutting apparatus includes a master cutting apparatus. The master cutting apparatus includes a casing, wheels, a first servo motor, a second servo motor, a processing unit, an image sensing unit and an integrated jig unit. The wheels are disposed on the bottom surface of the casing, and its rotation is controlled by the second servo motor. The image sensing unit is electrically connected to the processing unit and disposed at the front end of the lateral surface of the casing to sense images in front of the panel cutting apparatus. The processing unit controls the second servo motor according to the sensed images. The integrated jig unit is disposed on the top surface of the casing and includes jigs and a jig changing unit. The jig changing unit switches between the jigs and selects one of them. The selected jig is controlled by the first servo motor.
PANEL CUTTING APPARATUS
A panel cutting apparatus includes a master cutting apparatus. The master cutting apparatus includes a casing, wheels, a first servo motor, a second servo motor, a processing unit, an image sensing unit and an integrated jig unit. The wheels are disposed on the bottom surface of the casing, and its rotation is controlled by the second servo motor. The image sensing unit is electrically connected to the processing unit and disposed at the front end of the lateral surface of the casing to sense images in front of the panel cutting apparatus. The processing unit controls the second servo motor according to the sensed images. The integrated jig unit is disposed on the top surface of the casing and includes jigs and a jig changing unit. The jig changing unit switches between the jigs and selects one of them. The selected jig is controlled by the first servo motor.

The clearing device includes: an operating platform, including an operating surface; a first clearing unit, provided on a side of the operating platform close to the operating surface; a control unit, configured to communicate with the first clearing unit and control a clearing operation and a count of the operation of the first clearing unit; at least one detecting unit, provided on the operating platform and communicatively connected to the control unit, wherein the first clearing unit is configured to clear a foreign matter on the operating surface, the detecting unit is configured to detect a degree of cleanliness of the operating surface and send to the control unit a data signal which reflects the degree of cleanliness of the operating surface.
