Cleaning article with differential pitch tow tufts
A cleaning article. The cleaning article has discrete tufts of tow fibers. The discrete tufts are unequally spaced from adjacent tufts, to provide improved collection and retention of debris from a target surface. The tufts may have a pitch, the pitch decreasing as the longitudinal axis of the cleaning article is approached. The cleaning article may be made by cutting out spaces between tufts from a precursor sheet and attaching the precursor sheet to a carrier sheet. Or the cleaning article may be made by cutting a precursor sheet having tufts into discrete portions. These discrete portions are bonded to a carrier sheet.
Locking and unlocking kinetic motion of a mop base
Improved mop base capable of using both surfaces of a normal mop arranged parallel to one another.
Cleaning device
A cleaning device having a frame and an elongated strip of cleaning material wound into a roll rotatably mounted on a roller support. A slave roller having a core and a cylindrical tube disposed over the core is mounted to the frame so that the slave roller is spaced and parallel to the roll. A torsion spring is secured to and between the core and the tube so that, as the tube rotates relative to the core, the spring is wound. The strip of cleaning material is wound in between the roll and slave roller so that, upon rotation of the first roller in a first rotational direction, the cleaning material is unwound from the slave roller onto the roll while simultaneously winding the torsion spring. Upon disengagement of the first roller from the cleaning surface, the torsion spring rotatably drives the slave roller and rewinds the portion of the strip around the tube.
MULTIPURPOSE CLEANING TOOL HAVING AN INTERCHANGABLE HEAD
A telescopic handle has a first segment. A second segment slides inside the first segment. A flat surface is formed on the second segment. The flat surface prevents the second segment from rotating within the first segment. A plurality of notches is formed on the flat surface. A pair of locking devices is provided. A first locking device is attached to one end of the first segment. The first locking device is configured to allow the second segment to slide within the first locking device and secure the second segment to the first segment. A second locking device is provided to secure a tool head to a distal end of the second segment.
Device with expandable cleaning head
The present invention relates to a cleaning device and in particular, to such a cleaning device that is adapted to having a controllable and expandable cleaning surface head. The expandable cleaning surface head is associated with a handle where movement in the vertical direction of the handle is adapted to horizontal movement that controls the size of cleaning surface head.

FLOOR CLEANING ARTICLE HAVING STRIPS WITH DIFFERENTIAL BOND PATTERN
A cleaning article. The cleaning article has a laminate construction. The cleaning article comprises a sheet and a hydrophilic gather strip element joined together at plural bonds. The gather strip element has plural layers superimposed upon one another, providing strips extending outwardly from the bonds. Different layers are differentially bonded, to provide a construction which allows the strips to advantageously present a dynamically changing area to the target surface during cleaning, under normal usage conditions. By changing the surface area, more liquids, and associated debris, can be cleaned from the target surface.

CLEANING SHEETS HAVING COATING THEREON
A nonwoven sheet, having a first outwardly facing surface and a second outwardly facing surface. Wax is disposed in a wax pattern on the first surface; and oil is disposed in an oil pattern on the second surface. The oil pattern is not coincident the wax pattern so that wax blocks the oil from permeating through to the first surface. The first surface may be textured with peaks and valleys, having wax disposed on the peaks. This arrangement keeps the oil from contacting the target surface and leaving residue, while allowing the oil to collect and retain debris. The sheet may be executed as a dry sheet for cleaning surfaces such as floors or as a duster.
MULTI-USE MOP
A multi-purpose mop. The multi-purpose mop may comprise a mop head, which may have a plurality of bristles on a first side, a squeegee on an opposite side, and a fabric attachment portion on a bottom face.
