Bendable articles including adhesive layer with a dynamic elastic modulus
Articles including a substrate, a cover glass layer disposed over a top surface of the substrate, and an adhesive layer having a dynamic elastic modulus disposed between a bottom surface of the cover glass layer and the top surface of the substrate. The cover glass layer may have a thickness in the range of 1 micron to 200 microns. The dynamic elastic modulus of the adhesive layer may include a first elastic modulus in the range of 10 kPa to 1000 kPa measured at a stress frequency in the range of 0 Hertz to 5 Hertz and a temperature of 23 degrees C., and a second elastic modulus of 500 MPa or more measured at a stress frequency in the range of 10 Hertz to 1000 Hertz and a temperature of 23 degrees C. The adhesive layer may be optically transparent. The articles may be bendable electronic display devices or bendable electronic display device modules.
GLASS FOR VEHICLES AND CAMERA UNIT
Glass (1) for vehicles includes a light blocking region (A2) in which a far-infrared ray transmission region (B) provided with an opening and a far-infrared ray transmission member arranged in the opening, and a visible light transmission region (C) transmitting visible light are formed. The opening is formed between an upper edge part (1a) of the glass (1) and a first position (P1) in a first direction from the upper edge part (1a) toward a lower edge part (1b) of the glass (1), the first position (P1) is a position at which a distance from the upper edge part (1a) is 30% of a length from the upper edge part (1a) to the lower edge part (1b), and between a second position (P2) and a third position (P3) in a second direction from a side edge part (1c) toward a side edge part (1d) of the glass (1) for vehicles. A length (L2a) in the second direction from the second position (P2) to the third position (P3) is 55% of a length (L2) from the side edge part (1c) to the side edge part (1d), and a length of the longest straight line among straight lines connecting optional two points within a surface on a vehicle exterior side is equal to or smaller than 80 mm.
Sprayable composition for stabilising broken glass and method of applying same
A sprayable glass stabilizing composition including: a self-crosslinking acrylic co-polymer emulsion in the amount of 52.6% to 67.1% w/w, a crosslinkable thermoplastic all-acrylic polymer emulsion binder in the amount of 23.0% to 31.8% w/w, the binder having a higher glass transition temperature than the self-crosslinking acrylic co-polymer emulsion; an anionic hydrophobically-modified alkali swellable acrylic polymer emulsion rheology modifier in the amount of 0.45% to 0.61% w/w; an ester surfactant in the amount of 0.45% to 0.61% w/w; a foam control agent in the amount of 0.45% to 0.61% w/w; and the remaining content as water up to 100% w/w.
ULTRAVIOLET ABSORBER
Provided are a novel ultraviolet absorber that has an excellent absorbing property for UV-A or UV-B, furthermore specifically absorbs only ultraviolet ray at a specific wavelength, and is capable of being used for general purposes, and an ultraviolet absorbing resin excellent in bleed-out resistance in addition to the characteristics described above. The ultraviolet absorber is a fluorene compound represented by the general formula (1) or a resin comprising the fluorene compound as a constituent unit.
Polymer-coated substrate and medical analysis device
Provided are a polymer-coated substrate in which a polymer layer formed on the surface of a substrate is stable for a long period of time even in a liquid environment, and a medical analysis device including the polymer-coated substrate. Included is a polymer-coated substrate which includes a substrate, a silane compound layer formed on a surface of the substrate, and a polymer layer formed on the silane compound layer.
