A refrigerant medium circuit includes a first condenser and a second condenser, the first condenser located upstream of the second condenser in the refrigerant circuit. The refrigerant medium circuit includes a first flow path through the first condenser and a second flow path in bypass of the first condenser, and a valve for selectively controlling whether at least some refrigerant medium flows along the first flow path or the second flow path.

The housing includes a pump lower portion configured to receive the washing water based on rotation of the impeller, and a pump upper portion configured to discharge the washing water based on rotation of the impeller and to discharge the steam generated by the heater.

An intermediate zone is located, relative to the ware travel direction, after the main wash zone and before the final rinse zone. The intermediate zone includes a blowoff system including multiple blowoff nozzles that direct non-liquid flows onto wares to move residual detergent solution and soils from the wares as the wares move through the intermediate zone. A batch-type machine could also be provided with an intermediate non-liquid blowoff step.
