A dishwasher includes a dishwashing tub in which dishes are washed; a first tank configured to store therein cold washing water to be used for a next stroke; and a second tank configured to store therein hot washing water, which has been used in the dishwashing tub. The second tank is placed adjacently to the first tank to transfer heat from the stored hot washing water to the cold washing water. An opening is configured to deliver the hot washing water to the dishwashing tub; and a circulation pipe is configured to connect the dishwashing tub and the second tank to enable the hot washing water to circulate between the second tank and the dishwashing tub. A circulation valve is configured to allow the hot washing water to pass therethrough or to block the hot washing water from passing therethrough.

A water pretreatment system connected to a water supply pipe for supplying water that has been preheated to a home appliance, including: a mixing valve having an inlet connected to the water supply pipe, and a pair of outlets; a water filter having an inlet communicated with one of the pair of outlets of the mixing valve, and having an outlet communicated with the home appliance; a bypass line having an inlet end connected to the other of the pair of outlets of the mixing valve, and having an outlet end connected to the home appliance, the mixing valve being configured to at least one of direct water to the water filter or direct water to the bypass line; and a controller configured to control the mixing valve such that preheated water supplied to the home appliance is one of unfiltered, mixed, or fully filtered by the water filter.
Dishwasher and control method thereof
Disclosed is a control method of a dishwasher (100) including a tub (2) for receiving objects to be washed, a plurality of spray arms (711, 713, 715) for spraying wash water to the objects, and a steam nozzle (42) for spraying steam to the objects, the control method including a main washing cycle of washing the objects, a rinsing cycle of rinsing the washed objects using wash water, and a drying cycle of drying the objects after the rinsing is completed, wherein the drying cycle includes spraying steam, received from a steam source, to the objects to increase a temperature of the objects (a steam spraying step) and resupplying water to the steam source in order to prevent the steam source from being heated after the steam spraying step (a cooling step).

A dishwashing appliance includes a first water storage tank, a second water storage tank, and a heat pipe heat exchanger comprising a condenser section and an evaporator section. The evaporator section is in operative communication with the first water storage tank and the condenser section is in operative communication with the second water storage tank.
WATER-CONDUCTING HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE AND METHOD FOR OPERATION THEREOF
A water-conducting household appliance has a closable treatment chamber, in order to treat articles therein, at least one chamber water inlet into the treatment chamber, at least one sump under said treatment chamber, a coarse particle filter for separating coarse particles having a size 5 mm from water exiting from the sump, wherein the coarse particle filter has a coarse particle filter inlet, a coarse particle filter water outlet and a coarse particle filtrate outlet. According to the invention, exactly one pump having a pump inlet and a pump outlet is provided for the entire household appliance, said pump being connected downstream of the sump and the coarse particle filter water outlet. Water lines, valve devices and a discharge outlet from the household appliance are also provided, wherein a water line leads from the coarse particle filter water outlet to the pump or to the pump inlet.

Provided herein are a method of controlling operation of a washing appliance and a washing appliance being controlled by the method. The method may include displaying, on a user interface of the washing appliance, an estimated duration of a selected washing program for the washing appliance; displaying, on the user interface, a degree of ecological impact caused by the selected washing program; allowing a user to operate the user interface to change the duration of the selected washing program, wherein the washing appliance adapts the selected cleaning program to comply with the changed duration; and displaying on the user interface the degree of ecological impact caused by the selected washing program when complying with the changed duration.

A conveyor dishwasher (1) for washing washware has at least one final rinse zone (30, 40) and at least one washing zone (10, 20) whichas seen in the conveying direction (T) of the washwareis arranged upstream of the at least one final rinse zone (30, 40). A sensor device (5) is provided for detecting at least one parameter which characterizes the quality of the liquid which is to be sprayed in the at least one washing zone (10, 20), wherein the conveyor dishwasher (1) has a liquid transfer system which is designed, for the purpose of regenerating the washing liquid which is to be sprayed in the at least one washing zone (10, 20), to preferably as required supply an in particular definable quantity of fresh water to the at least one washing zone (10, 20).

A dishwasher (1), in particular a commercial dishwasher (1), which is in the form of a box-type dishwasher and has a treatment chamber (2) which can be closed and in which washware can be treated in accordance with a predefined or predefinable treatment program, wherein a washware detector apparatus (51) is designed to detect the type of washware to be, wherein the washware detector apparatus (51) has an optical identification system, which is oriented toward the washware to be treated, and an evaluation device, wherein the optical identification system is designed to record at least a portion of the light reflected by the washware to be treated as a reflection image, and wherein the evaluation device is designed to automatically distinguish between different types of washware on the basis of the recorded reflection image, wherein the extent of the reflection provides information about the type of washware.
Heating assembly for a washing appliance
A dishwashing appliance includes a tub defining a wash chamber, a water storage chamber, an inlet defined in the tub and providing fluid communication into the wash chamber, and a heat pipe heat exchanger. The heat pipe heat exchanger includes a sealed casing, a working fluid contained within the sealed casing, a condenser section, and an evaporator section. The condenser section is in operative communication with the inlet upstream of the wet chamber. The dishwashing appliance also includes a fluid circulation system configured to deliver fluid to the wash chamber from the water storage chamber. The fluid circulation system includes a spray nozzle configured to spray wash fluid onto the evaporator section of the heat pipe heat exchanger.
A CHEMICAL DOSING SYSTEM
Disclosed herein is a chemical dosing system for an appliance, such as a laundry washing machine or a dishwashing machine, having a water inlet, the system comprising a meter determining the volume of water supplied to the appliance, a pump for dispensing a quantity of a chemical to the appliance and a control unit arranged to receive a signal from the meter and to cause to be dispensed to the appliance a volume of chemical that is proportional to the quantity of water supplied to the appliance. The disclosed system may enable a correct quantity of chemical to be automatically dispensed to many types of appliance, without the need to know anything about the appliance, or to derive an electrical signal from the appliance.
