Door mechanism of a domestic electrical appliance with a function for automatic door opening
20220378274 · 2022-12-01 ·

A door mechanism, for example for a domestic dishwasher, is disclosed, wherein the door mechanism includes a door latch for holding a door of the dishwasher closed in a closed position, and an electrically controllable door opener for the mechanized partial opening and subsequent closing of the door. The door opener includes coupling members, which can be brought into push- and pull-transmitting but releasable coupling engagement with one another, on the door and on an appliance main body of the dishwasher on which the door is movably mounted. The coupling members, when in coupling engagement, allow forces to be transmitted between the door and the appliance main body in a force transmission path which runs past the door latch. The pull strength of the coupling engagement of the coupling members can be variable in dependence on the position of the door.

Dishwasher and method for operating a dishwasher

A dishwasher includes a pump device operated by a pump current for supply of washing liquor to a first spray device via a first hydraulic arrangement for providing a first washing zone and to a second spray device via a second hydraulic arrangement for providing a second washing zone. A third spray device is connected to one of the first and second hydraulic arrangements for providing an intensive washing zone. In a first switching state, the third spray device is isolated from the one hydraulic arrangement, and in a second switching state the third spray device is connected to the one hydraulic arrangement. A control device determines a current switching state of the third spray device as a function of a difference between the pump current when washing liquor is supplied to the first hydraulic arrangement and when washing liquor is supplied to the second hydraulic arrangement.

Dishwasher

The present invention relates to a dishwasher, especially a domestic dishwasher, comprising a body, a washing chamber provided in the body wherein the washing is realized, at least one rack which is located in the washing chamber for loading dishes to be washed and at least one spray arm which rotates around itself and provides water into the washing chamber for washing the dishes. The dishwasher, especially the domestic dishwasher, comprises furthermore a checking mechanism which is configured to translate the sliding movement of the at least one rack into rotation of the at least one spray arm.

Operational state analyzable dishwasher and method of analyzing operational state of dishwasher

A method and a dishwasher capable of analyzing the closure state of the filter of the dishwasher by using a deep neural network model trained through machine learning of artificial intelligence is provided. The dishwasher may include a microphone configured to obtain a drainage sound signal generated by draining washing water through the filter during operation of the dishwasher, a processor configured to analyze the degree of closure of the filter based on the drainage sound signal, and an alarm generator configured to generate an alarm if the degree of closure is a greater than or equal to a predetermined level. The operational state of the dishwasher may be analyzed based on a drainage sound of the washing water drained to the filter by the degree of closure of the filter.

Retracting dishwasher rack system

A retracting rack for an appliance such as a dish washing appliance. The rack may be positionable between a stowed position and a deployed position. A spring may drive the rack towards the stowed position. A locking mechanism may be used to secure the rack in one or more positions. A release mechanism and/or a reset mechanism may be used to control the retracting cycle of the rack.

Dishwasher and method of controlling same

The present disclosure relates to a dishwasher and a method of controlling the same. The dishwasher may determine an amount of foam in a wash space using a turbidity sensor measuring a turbidity value of wash water. Additionally, the dishwasher may perform a foam removal operation based on the amount of the foam in the wash space. In this case, the turbidity value measured by the turbidity sensor may be used. The foam removal operation may include a drainage operation, a water supply operation, and a wash operation that are consecutively performed, and may be performed in one or more of a pre-wash course, a main wash course, and a heating and rinsing course.

DISHWASHING APPLIANCES AND METHODS FOR ADDRESSING OBSTRUCTION THEREIN

Dishwashing appliances and methods, as provided herein, may include features or steps such as performing a drain cycle; detecting a pressure (P1) during an activation period of the drain cycle; comparing the pressure to a first predetermined pressure limit; comparing the pressure to a second predetermined pressure limit; determining a target fill value based on a difference between a normal fill volume and a fluid volume corresponding to P1; and initiating a fill cycle based on the target fill value.

A method of monitoring drainage of a washing appliance such as a dishwasher or washing machine having a pump for draining a washing chamber is disclosed. The method includes receiving a time series of power consumption data relating to the operation of the washing appliance over a monitored period of operation including pumped draining of the washing chamber. A measure of the duration of a portion of the monitored period comprising said pumped draining is derived from the time series of power consumption data. The measure of duration is then compared to a reference value and an indicator of a drainage condition is determined based on the comparison. The method may be used to detect scaling or blockages in drainage flow paths.

Dishwasher with image-based diagnostics

A dishwasher, comprising: a wash tub; a sprayer configured to spray fluid within the wash tub; an imaging device configured to capture images within the wash tub; and a controller coupled to the imaging device and configured to perform a remote start of a wash cycle in the dishwasher in response to receiving a remote start command from a remote device by: controlling the imaging device to capture one or more images within the wash tub; initiating communication of the captured one or more images to the remote device for viewing on the remote device; waiting to receive a confirmation from the remote device; and starting the wash cycle in response to receiving the confirmation from the remote device.
