Clean status indicator
An anchoring system for use with a device having a clean status indicator may include at least one first slide component having at least one slot and at least one second slide component disposed within the at least one slot configured to move in relation to the at least one first slide component along at least a first axis extending along a length of the at least one slot, a second axis extending along a width of the at least one slot, and a third axis extending perpendicular to the first axis and the second axis. At least one of the at least one first slide component and the at least one second slide component may be configured to be secured to at least one of the device and a rigid support structure immediately adjacent to the device to allow for a controlled degree of movement of the device along at least the first axis, the second axis, and the third axis.
Dishmachine
The present disclosure relates to a dishmachine that includes one or more features directed to water, energy or material savings. The disclosed dishmachines are still capable of meeting the soil demands of the articles to be cleaned.
Method for calibrating a cleaning device
A method for calibrating a cleaning device that has at least one sensor for detecting at least one state variable, including carrying out a calibration measurement, establishing an electronic connection between the calibration sensor and a controller of the cleaning device, and electronically transmitting the reference value to the controller; and comparing the reference value with at least one measurement value of the sensor of the cleaning device and adjusting at least one correction function in accordance with the comparison. At least one state variable is detected and at least one reference value is determined by means of at least one calibration sensor independently of the sensor of the cleaning device. Future measurement values of the sensor of the cleaning device are automatically corrected using the correction function.
Dishmachine
The present disclosure relates to a dishmachine that includes one or more features directed to water, energy or material savings. The disclosed dishmachines are still capable of meeting the soil demands of the articles to be cleaned.
Clean Status Indicator
A clean status indicator is disclosed for use with a cleaning device such as a dishwasher. At least one weight sensor may be configured to sense the weight of objects within the washing compartment. In some approaches at least one temperature sensor is configured to monitor a change of temperature occurring within a washing compartment. A visual display is positioned within a housing for conveying a clean/dirty status of objects within the washing compartment. A controller is in communication with the at least one sensor and the visual display. The controller includes a status logic receiving data from the at least one sensor to determine the clean/dirty status of objects within the washing compartment and display the clean/dirty status on the visual display.
Method of operating a household appliance
A household appliance having a treating chamber in which is received an article for treatment, a treating chemistry dispenser configured to receive a unit dose container for the treating chemistry, and a controller for executing at least one cycle of operation and a method of operating the household appliance to physically alter a unit dose container in conjunction with a cycle of operation and sensing same.
METERING DEVICE FOR THE METERED ADDITION OF DETERGENTS
A dispensing apparatus for dispensing substances, such as cleaning, washing, or dishwashing agents, in household appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, or the like, having a dispensing unit having control means to control dispensing of the substances, and a tank receptacle, a tank for stocking the substances, the tank being embodied as a replaceable unit connectable to the tank receptacle, at least one connection for data transmission between the dispensing unit and the tank, at least one connection for data transmission between the household appliance and the tank and/or the dispensing unit.
System for establishing communication between a user interface and a controller of a dishwasher
A dishwasher may include a closure element, such as a door, a user interface on the closure element, and a controller. A data communication link having a first data connector may be coupled to the controller, and a second data connector may be coupled to the user interface. The first and second data connectors may communicatively couple when the closure element is in the closed condition to establish data communication between the controller and the user interface. The communication link may also form a power link to provide power to the user interface across an electrical link.
Dishwasher and dispensing assembly
A dishwasher having a tub having an open face and at least partially defining a treating chamber for holding dishes during an automatic cycle of operation, a door moveably mounted between an opened position, wherein a user the treating chamber is accessible, and a closed position, wherein the door closes the open face of the tub and dispensing assembly configured to activate an indicator to emit a human-detectable signal in response to a first signal indicating a predetermined amount of treating chemistry and a second signal indicating a predetermined amount of illumination.
