Methods of monitoring the load state of a dishwashing appliance
A method may include detecting one or more insertion actions for a loading one or more articles into the dishwashing appliance and directing, subsequent to the detected insertion actions, a dishwasher cycle within the dishwashing appliance. The method may also include detecting, subsequent to the dishwasher cycle, one or more removal actions for unloading the one or more articles from the dishwashing appliance. The method may further include evaluating the detected removal actions against the detected insertion actions and directing a user interface of the dishwashing appliance based on the evaluation.
CLEAN STATUS INIDCATOR
A clean status indicator is disclosed for use with a cleaning device such as a dishwasher. At least one weight sensor may be configured to sense the weight of objects within the washing compartment. In some approaches at least one temperature sensor is configured to monitor a change of temperature occurring within a washing compartment. A visual display is positioned within a housing for conveying a clean/dirty status of objects within the washing compartment. A controller is in communication with the at least one sensor and the visual display. The controller includes a status logic receiving data from the at least one sensor to determine the clean/dirty status of objects within the washing compartment and display the clean/dirty status on the visual display.
DISHWASHER WITH WIRELESSLY POWERED IMAGING DEVICE AND COMMUNICATION
A dishwasher may utilize wireless power to power an electric device disposed within a wash tub. Such a dishwasher can include: a wash tub including a rack; a spray device disposed in the wash tub; a fluid supply to supply wash fluid to the spray device during a wash cycle that washes a load; a wireless power transmitter external from the wash tub; a wireless power receiver supported by the rack and positioned adjacent to the wireless transmitter when the rack is in a washing position; and a wirelessly powered electrical device supported by the rack.
Household appliance having a signal relay
A household appliance for performing a useful cycle of operation on a physical article may have a treating chamber for holding the physical article during performance of the useful cycle of operation. The household appliance may include a temporary controllable device located within the treating chamber where the temporary controllable device may be communicated with via a signal relay.
