A pump (8) is disclosed. The pump (8) includes a partition wall (84) configured to divide the interior of a body into two spaces, a first chamber (C1) located under the partition wall (84), the first chamber (C1) having an introduction portion (841), through which water is introduced, a second chamber (C2) located above the partition wall (84), the second chamber (C2) having a discharge portion (849), through which water is discharged, a communication hole (86) formed through the partition wall (84) to allow the first chamber (C1) and the second chamber (C2) to communicate with each other therethrough, an impeller (85) provided in the second chamber (C2) to move water to the discharge portion (849), a housing configured to define the bottom surface of the first chamber (C1), the housing being made of a conductor, a heater (H) configured to heat the housing (81), and a steam discharge (843) port formed through the first chamber (C1) to allow steam to be discharged therethrough.
WASHING MACHINE, COMPONENTS THEREOF AND METHODS OF CLEANING
A method of cleaning a washing machine and components and systems for enabling a user to clean the washing machine are provided. The method includes gaining access to debris that is trapped in otherwise inaccessible and/or concealed areas and/or directing debris out of inaccessible and/or concealed areas. The components include a jet channel that selectively couples to a discharge manifold in use and is removable to provide access to an interior area of the discharge manifold for cleaning. The systems include a removable mount assembly for accessories and a purging system for pumps and other concealed areas. The purging system is configured to discharge purging fluid through a plurality of purging ports and into concealed areas so as to direct debris in the concealed areas out of the concealed areas.
WASHING MACHINE, COMPONENTS THEREOF AND METHODS OF CLEANING
A method of cleaning a washing machine and components and systems for enabling a user to clean the washing machine are provided. The method includes gaining access to debris that is trapped in otherwise inaccessible and/or concealed areas and/or directing debris out of inaccessible and/or concealed areas. The components include a jet channel that selectively couples to a discharge manifold in use and is removable to provide access to an interior area of the discharge manifold for cleaning. The systems include a removable mount assembly for accessories and a purging system for pumps and other concealed areas. SINKS INCORPORATING DISHWASHER FUNCTIONALITIES
Disclosed herein is a sink incorporating dishwasher functionalities. The sink is mounted, or otherwise installed, on a kitchen countertop and includes a basin and a cover allowing to fluidly seal the basin from above. According to some embodiments of the sink, at least one portion of the walls of the basin, extending along two peripheral directions, is double walled, having an outer wall and an inner wall, such as to define an inner chamber there between. The inner chamber is controllably fluidly coupled to a pressurized fluid source and has apertures on the inner wall for ejecting fluid jets into the basin. In some embodiments of the sink, the cover is a shutter.
CONDITION WARNING SYSTEM, CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR POT AND PAN WASHING MACHINE
A condition warning system for an apparatus such as a pot and pan washing machine, a control system and control methods for a pot and pan washing machine are provided. The condition warning system includes a control system that monitors operational, safety or compliance parameters of an apparatus, and a light that illuminates a location below (or above) an operator's direct line of sight, and which is outside of the operator's direct line of sight. The control system and control methods include a punitive wash action lockout, an extended wash cycle time, and a deep clean wash cycle.

A condition warning system for an apparatus such as a pot and pan washing machine, a control system and control methods for a pot and pan washing machine are provided. PUMP AND DISHWASHER COMPRISING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to a pump which sends washing water and generates steam in order to wash the dishes or the cooking utensils, and a dishwasher including the same. The pump according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a housing; an impeller which is disposed inside the housing and flows washing water; and a heater which is coupled to a lower side of the housing and generates steam by heating the washing water in the housing, wherein the housing includes: a pump lower portion through which the washing water is introduced by rotation of the impeller; and a pump upper portion through which the washing water flows out by rotation of the impeller and the steam generated by the heater flows out, thereby generating steam.
PUMP AND DISHWASHER COMPRISING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to a pump which sends washing water and generates steam in order to wash the dishes or the cooking utensils, and a dishwasher including the same. The pump according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a housing; an impeller which is disposed inside the housing and flows washing water; and a heater which is coupled to a lower side of the housing and generates steam by heating the washing water in the housing, wherein the housing includes: a pump lower portion through which the washing water is introduced by rotation of the impeller; and a pump upper portion through which the washing water flows out by rotation of the impeller and the steam generated by the heater flows out, thereby generating steam.
DISHWASHER AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention relates to a dishwasher for washing the dishes or the cooking utensils by spraying washing water and steam and a controlling method therefor. The method of controlling a dishwasher includes: a steam supply step of supplying washing water to the sump from an external water source; and a steam generation step of maintaining a water level of the washing water existing inside the washing pump at a certain water level or higher and heating the washing water.

The present invention relates to a dishwasher for washing the dishes or the cooking utensils by spraying washing water and steam and a controlling method therefor. The method of controlling a dishwasher includes: a steam supply step of supplying washing water to the sump from an external water source; and a steam generation step of maintaining a water level of the washing water existing inside the washing pump at a certain water level or higher and heating the washing water.
