The lock includes a holder provided at one selected from between the cabinet and the door, a housing provided at the other selected from between the cabinet and the door, a first stopper provided at the housing, a fastening unit separably coupled to the first stopper so as to be coupled to the holder when separated from the first stopper, an actuation unit configured to reciprocate in the housing, the actuation unit being configured to be moved away from the introduction port in the state of contacting the holder when the door is moved so as to close the introduction port, the actuation unit being configured to separate the fastening unit from the first stopper while being moved away from the introduction port, a first elastic member for providing force necessary to move the fastening unit away from the introduction port when the fastening unit is separated from the first stopper, a second elastic member for providing force necessary to move the actuation unit toward the introduction port, and an actuation unit lock for fixing the actuation unit to the housing when not in contact with the door and releasing coupling between the actuation unit and the housing when in contact with the door.

A dish washing machine having a structure allowing wash water to be evenly sprayed into a washing tub. The dish washing machine includes a cabinet forming an external appearance of the dish washing machine, a washing tub arranged in the cabinet and allowing dishes to be washed therein, a dish basket arranged in the washing tub to accommodate the dishes, a spray unit to spray wash water into the washing tub, a diversion unit arranged inside a flow passage of wash water to divert the wash water sprayed from the spray unit, and a guide member coupled to one side of the diversion unit to allow the diversion unit to move within the washing tub. As the spray unit and the diversion unit are provided, a dead zone which wash water does not reach may be eliminated, and divided and intensive washing may be implemented in the washing tub.

A dishwasher includes a shiftable rack provided with multiple, distinct washing fluid spray arms connected to a common, rack supported manifold. A dishwasher provided that may include a washing chamber, a rack adapted to accommodate items to be washed by washing liquid within the washing chamber, an arm, and an arm moving arrangement arranged to move the arm within the washing chamber. The arm may include at least one washing liquid removing element arranged to touch at least one of the rack and washing liquid at the rack upon movement of the arm to remove the washing liquid from the rack. The embodiments herein also relate to method for removing washing liquid from a rack of a dishwasher.
