Reactive polymeric lost circulation materials

Compositions and methods involving polyvalent cation reactive polymers for use as lost circulation materials in subterranean treatment operations are provided. In some embodiments, the methods include forming a treatment fluid including a base fluid, a source of a polyvalent cation, a polyvalent cation reactive polymer, and an acid precursor; introducing the treatment fluid into a wellbore penetrating at least a portion of a subterranean formation; and allowing the treatment fluid to at least partially set.

A two-component system for forming adhesive bonds or for chemical anchoring comprises a curable binder component A and an activator component B. The component A comprises: A-1) an inhibited hydraulic binder selected from among calcium aluminate cement, calcium sulfoaluminate cement and mixtures thereof; the component B comprises: B-1) a curing activator. At least one of the components A and/or B comprises: V-1) an organic binder; and V-2) a filler having a Mohs hardness of at least 5. The system is an aqueous system which is unproblematical from a health point of view. It is easy to process and quickly attains high strengths.

Multi-component mortar system

A multi-component mortar system including a component A and a component B wherein, component A includes aluminous cement, at least one set inhibitor, at least one mineral filler and water, and component B includes an initiator system for the set-inhibited aluminous cement, at least one mineral filler and water. The multi-component mortar system is easy to use and suitable for repair and refurbishment and particularly for printing 3D structures.
