Colloidal vesicles for use as dedusting agents in construction panels
Ceiling tiles and wallboards can be produced with vesicle dedusting agent. For example, a ceiling tile can comprise: a dried base mat that includes: (a) mineral wool; (b) binder; (c) a vesicle dedusting agent at about 0.01 to about 10 wt %, wherein the vesicle dedusting agent comprises vesicles; (d) optionally cellulosic fiber; (e) optionally perlite; (f) optionally glass fiber; and (g) optionally calcium sulfate dihydrate. For example, a wallboard produced from a slurry comprising: (a) calcium sulfate hemihydrate at 70 to 95 wt %; (b) a vesicle dedusting agent at about 0.01 to about 10 wt %, wherein the vesicle dedusting agent comprises vesicles; (c) optionally cellulose fibers at about 0.5 to about 3 wt %; (d) optionally at least one dispersant at about 0.01 to about 2 wt %; and (e) water at a ratio of water to dry components of about 1:6 to about 20:1.
PRODUCTION OF CALCIUM HYDROXIDE NANOPARTICLES AND THEIR USE AS ACCELERATORS IN MINERAL BINDER COMPOSITIONS
An aqueous suspension including 5 to 65 wt. % of calcium hydroxide, wherein at least 50 wt. % of the calcium hydroxide is present in the form of nanoparticles, and at least one compound for stabilizing the suspension. The aqueous suspension accelerates the setting of mineral binder compositions without adversely affecting the processing properties of the composition.

High solids polycarboxylate synthesis for cement superplasticizers
The present invention provides efficient methods to form a high solids content polymeric polyacid or a comb polymer useful as a superplasticizer or dispersant which comprise heating to from 80 to 100 C. for a first time period, and then, sequentially, heating to a second temperature of from 150 to 250 C. for a second time period a wet reaction mixture having a solids content of from 80 to 99 wt. % and comprising from 15 to 60 wt. % of one or more ethylenically unsaturated acid or a salt thereof, from 37 to 76.99 wt. % of one or more polyether polyols, alkyl polyether polyols, polyether amines or alkyl polyether amines in the presence of (i) from 0.01 to 1 wt. %, of one or more water soluble radical initiators or redox pairs and (ii) from 2 to 22 wt. % of one or more phosphorus oxide containing compounds, all weights based on the total weight of the wet reaction mixture.
