Zirconia/titanium oxide/cerium oxide doped rare earth tantalum/niobate RETa/NbO4 ceramic powder and preparation method thereof
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of ceramic powder preparation, and discloses a zirconia/titania/cerium oxide doped rare earth tantalum/niobate RETa/NbO.sub.4 ceramic powder and a preparation method thereof. A general chemical formula of the ceramic powder is RE.sub.1-x(Ta/Nb).sub.1-x(Zr/Ce/Ti).sub.2xO.sub.4, 0<x<1, the crystal structure of the ceramic powder is orthorhombic, the lattice space group of the ceramic powder is C222.sub.1, the particle size of the ceramic powder ranges from 10 to 70 μm, and particles of the ceramic powder are spherical. During preparation, the raw materials are ball-milled before a high temperature solid phase reaction, then mixed with a solvent and an organic binder to obtain a slurry C, then centrifuged and atomized to obtain dry pellets, and finally sintered to obtain a zirconia/titanium oxide/cerium oxide doped rare earth tantalum/niobate RETa/NbO.sub.4 ceramic powder, which satisfies the requirements of APS technology for ceramic powders.
METHOD FOR MULTILAYER CERAMIC ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH PUNCHED OUT SIDE MARGIN PARTS
A method for manufacturing a multilayer ceramic electronic device includes punching out a ceramic sheet by one of left and right side surfaces of a laminated body so as to form a side margin part on the one of the left and right side surfaces of said laminated body; and punching out another ceramic sheet by another of the left and right side surfaces of the laminated body so as to form a side margin part on the another of the left and right side surfaces of said laminated body, thereby forming a ceramic main body having the laminated body and the pair of side margin parts that respectively cover the left and right side surfaces of the laminated body. The width W is greater than the length L in the multilayer ceramic electronic device.

NANO PARTICLE AGGLOMERATE REDUCTION TO PRIMARY PARTICLE
A nanoparticle cluster reduction method yields a new composition of matter including a large percentage (e.g., 75% or higher percentage) of primary nanoparticles in the new composition of matter. The particle reduction method reduces the size of nanoparticle clusters in material of the new composition of matter, allows particle reduction of specific nanoparticle cluster sizes, and allows particle reduction to primary nanoparticles. This new composition of matter can include a high permittivity and high resistivity dielectric compound. This new composition of matter, according to certain examples, has high permittivity, high resistivity, and low leakage current. In certain examples, the new composition of matter constitutes a dielectric energy storage device that is a battery with very high energy density, high operating voltage per cell, and an extended battery life cycle. An example method can include a controlled gas evolution reaction to reduce the size of nanoparticle clusters.
