A dishwasher including a cabinet assembly having a tub in which dishes are received, a sump, having a water collection unit configured to store wash water disposed therein, which is coupled to an interior of the cabinet assembly to collect wash water and to supply steam generated in the water collection unit into the cabinet assembly, and a heater module located outside the sump to transfer heat to the water collection unit and to heat the wash water in order to generate steam. The heater does not contact the wash water, preventing corrosion or oxidation of the heater.

The dishwasher includes a cabinet having an opening, a tub provided in the cabinet to accommodate objects for washing, a spray arm for spraying wash water to the objects, a sump for storing wash water, a door for opening and closing the opening, and a first steam nozzle provided at an inner surface of the door to spray steam to the objects.

This disclosure proposes a cleaning device for cleaning items to be cleaned. The cleaning device has at least one fluid device for applying at least one cleaning fluid to the items to be cleaned. The cleaning device has at least one electrical load. The cleaning device further has at least one electrical connection for supplying electrical energy to the cleaning device. The cleaning device further has at least one energy store. The cleaning device is designed to receive electrical energy via the electrical connection and to temporarily store said electrical energy in the energy store. The cleaning device is further designed to supply electrical energy from the energy store to the at least one electrical load.
WASHING PUMP AND DISHWASHER INCLUDING THE SAME
Disclosed is a washing pump for spraying washing water or steam to wash dishes or cooking appliances, and a dishwasher including the same. The washing pump according to the present invention includes: a housing; a partition wall which is vertically divides an inner space of the housing; an impeller which is rotatably disposed over the partition wall in the housing to cause washing water to flow; a heater which is disposed under the partition wall to heat the washing water in the housing so as to generate steam; and a steam discharge pipe which is disposed over the partition wall to discharge the steam, generated by the heater, to an outside of the housing. Accordingly, steam may be generated by the heater and discharged.
PUMP AND DISHWASHER COMPRISING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to a pump which sends washing water and generates steam in order to wash the dishes or the cooking utensils, and a dishwasher including the same. The pump according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a housing; an impeller which is disposed inside the housing and flows washing water; and a heater which is coupled to a lower side of the housing and generates steam by heating the washing water in the housing, wherein the housing includes: a pump lower portion through which the washing water is introduced by rotation of the impeller; and a pump upper portion through which the washing water flows out by rotation of the impeller and the steam generated by the heater flows out, thereby generating steam.
DISHWASHER
Provided is a dishwasher for spraying washing water or steam to wash dishes or cooking appliances. The dishwasher according to the present invention includes: a case; a tub which is provided inside the case to form a washing space where a target of washing is received; a spray arm which sprays washing water into the tub; a sump which is disposed under the tub to store the washing water; a washing pump which supplies the washing water stored in the sump to the spray arm and generates steam; a steam nozzle which sprays the steam generated in the washing pump to the washing space; and a steam hose which connects the washing pump and the steam nozzle, wherein the sump comprises a steam hose supporter that supports the steam hose.
GLASSWARE AND SILVERWARE STEAMER
A device for steaming utensils includes a frame including a plurality of side walls having a ledge forming an interior perimeter of the frame and a flange protruding horizontally from the upper surface of each side wall and toward the exterior of the frame. The frame having open upper and bottom ends. A heating deck having opposing containment walls adjacent to opposing loading walls is arranged beneath the frame. A fluid reservoir is arranged within the frame and has a plurality of side walls adjacent to the frame side walls extending toward the inner perimeter of the frame past the ledge toward the heating deck and is enclosed by a reservoir bottom. The fluid reservoir contains a fluid which is heated to generate steam that impacts at least one rack containing utensils arranged on the frame. The steam from the fluid reservoir facilitates polishing of the utensils.
DISHWASHER AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention relates to a dishwasher for washing the dishes or the cooking utensils by spraying washing water and steam and a controlling method therefor. The method of controlling a dishwasher includes: a steam supply step of supplying washing water to the sump from an external water source; and a steam generation step of maintaining a water level of the washing water existing inside the washing pump at a certain water level or higher and heating the washing water.

The dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a tub which accommodates a washing object, a sump which is disposed in a bottom of the tub and stores washing water, a spray arm which sprays the washing water into the tub, a washing pump which sends the washing water stored in the sump to the spray arm, and a check valve which is disposed between the sump and the washing pump and opened in a direction of the washing pump from the sump.

The dishwasher according to the present invention includes: a tub which receives a target of washing; a sump which is disposed at a bottom of the tub to store washing water; a spray arm which sprays the washing water stored in the sump into the tub; a heater which generates heat by heating washing water in a circulation passage connecting the sump and the spray arm; and a steam passage which is connected to the steam nozzle, and in which the steam generated by the heater flows. Accordingly, the steam generated in the circulation passage may be supplied smoothly.
