Dishwasher appliance with a vortex air dryer
A dishwasher appliance includes a tub that defines a wash chamber. A door is mounted to the tub for selectively accessing the wash chamber of the tub. A vortex air dryer has four vents and a fan. The four vents are positioned and oriented for forming a vortex air flow in the wash chamber during operation of the fan.
SUMP MOUNTING ASSEMBLY HAVING ONE OR MORE LATCHES
A sump mounting assembly for mounting a sump with the tub of a dishwasher appliance is provided herein. The sump mounting assembly may include a sump having a seal extending around the side of the sump, one or more latch receivers mounted to the bottom side of the sump, and one or more latches rotatably attached to the latch receivers, wherein rotation of the latch causes compression of the seal, thereby sealing the tub.
HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE OR COMMERCIAL APPLIANCE AND CARRIER SYSTEM THEREFOR
A household appliance or commercial appliance includes a housing surrounding an interior and a support device removable from the interior and a rail system with at least two rails connected to one another and movable relative to one another, and a support element. When the support device is in an installed state, the rail system is mounted on the housing such that the support element is movable relative to the housing by pulling out the rail system. A locking unit arranged on the support device has at least one locking element that can be transferred between a blocking state and a free state. When the support device is in its removed state physically separated from the housing, the locking unit blocks the rail system from being pulled out. When the support device is in its installed state, the locking element allows the rail system to be pulled out.
DISHWASHER
A dishwasher includes a tub in which tableware is stored; a washing nozzle which is installed in the tub and sprays washing water; a washing pump which pumps the washing water to the washing nozzle; a sump in which the washing water is stored; and an air jet generator which is mounted in the tub, and supplies air to the washing water to contain an air bubble; wherein the air jet generator comprises: an air jet nozzle which sprays the washing water containing the air bubble into the tub; a discharge port which discharges the washing water containing the air bubble to the air jet nozzle; and a cap which surrounds at least a portion of the discharge port exposed in the tub.
DISH RACK AND WASH ASSEMBLY FOR DISHWASHER
A dishwasher for treating dishes according to an automatic cycle of operation can include a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber receiving dishes for treatment and a spray system providing treating liquid to the treating chamber. A dish rack is located in the tub and has a bottom wall and at least a side wall extending upwardly from the bottom wall. A depending portion extends downwardly from the bottom wall and is oriented at an angle to the bottom wall to define an incline angle. At least one spray tube is carried by the dish rack.
Dishwasher with check valve in rotatable docking port
A dishwasher and method for operating the same utilize a check valve in a rotatable docking port to control the flow of fluid such as wash fluid or pressurized air to a rotatable conduit supported in the rack of a dishwasher.
SUSPENSION SYSTEM FOR A FLUID CIRCULATION ASSEMBLY OF A DISHWASHER APPLIANCE
A dishwasher appliance includes a tub that defines a wash chamber for receipt of articles for washing. A sump is positioned at a bottom of the wash chamber for receiving fluid from the wash chamber. A fluid circulation assembly is at least partially disposed within the sump. The fluid circulation assembly is mounted in the sump with a resilient mounting post received in a support tube of the fluid circulation assembly, whereby the fluid circulation assembly is vibrationally isolated from the sump. The fluid circulation assembly includes a releasable clip configured to lock the resilient mounting post into the support tube.
DISHWASHING APPLIANCES AND PUMP ASSEMBLIES
A dishwashing appliance is provided herein. The dishwashing appliance may include a tub, a sump, a chamber pump, a vane, and a threaded engagement joint. The chamber pump housing may be mounted within at least a portion of sump. The chamber pump housing may define an inner wall surface. The vane may be positioned within the chamber pump housing. The vane may extend from an inner radial end to an outer radial end. The vane may define a foil profile. The threaded engagement joint may include a first radial thread profile and a second radial thread profile. The first radial thread profile may extend radially from the vane at the outer radial end. The second radial thread profile may be formed on the inner wall surface. The second radial thread profile may be complementary to the first radial thread profile.
Household dishwasher for washing dishes in one or more partial wash cycles, and associated method
A household dishwasher includes a wash container for holding dishes to be washed and a fill reservoir attached to the wash container. The fill reservoir is filled with fresh water from a fresh water network, and a quantity of fresh water required for the wash sub-cycle is removed from the fill reservoir and feed into the wash container. A heat pump includes an evaporator which is thermally coupled to the fill reservoir to extract heat energy from stored fresh water, and a condenser via which heat energy is fed into an interior space of the wash container. Disposed between the interior space of the wash container and an interior space of the fill reservoir is a single-layer or multilayer insulation material system to reduce a heat flow from the wash container.
Low profile rack and wash assembly for dishwasher
A dishwasher for treating dishes according to an automatic cycle of operation can include a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber receiving dishes for treatment, a spray system providing treating liquid to the treating chamber, a low profile dish rack located in the tub and having a bottom wall and at least a side wall extending upwardly from the bottom wall, with a depending portion extending downwardly from the bottom wall and oriented at an angle to the bottom wall to define an incline angle, and at least one spray tube carried by the dish rack and located below the bottom wall, the spray tube having nozzles emitting spray into the depending portion.
