HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE INCLUDING A MOUNTABLE WIRELESS COMMUNICATION MODULE
A household appliance that includes a selectively mountable wireless communication module. The selectively mountable wireless communication module can be selectively mounted in a toe kick area of the household appliance. The household appliance can be, but is not limited to, a dishwasher, an oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a microwave, a washing machine, a dryer, or a combo washer-dryer.
Batch-type warewasher with energy retaining curtain
A batch-type warewash machine includes a chamber for receiving wares to be cleaned, the chamber having a chamber access opening and a single spray zone, with at least one spray system for spraying liquid onto wares in the single spray zone. A door is movable between a closed position covering the chamber access opening and an open position away from the chamber access opening to allow wares to be moved in and out of the chamber. A curtain structure is mounted on the machine, the curtain structure located behind the door when the door is in the closed position. The curtain structure remains in position and at least partially covers the chamber access opening when the door is in the open position so as to retain hot moist air within the chamber when the door is moved to the open position upon completion of a ware cleaning cycle.
Dishwashing appliance having a door linkage assembly
A dishwashing appliance may include a cabinet, a tub, a door, a spring linkage, and a bent linkage latch. The cabinet may extend laterally between a pair of opposing lateral sides. The door may be rotatably positioned at a front opening and providing selective access to a wash chamber of the cabinet. The spring linkage may bias the door toward a closed position. The spring linkage may extend from a first end to a second end. The first end may be mounted to the cabinet. The second end may include a fastener selectively attached to the door. The bent linkage latch may extend laterally from the cabinet at one of the pair of opposing lateral sides below the door along a vertical direction. The bent linkage latch defining a vertically open latch channel to selectively receive the spring linkage when the fastener is detached from the door.
DISHMACHINE
The present disclosure relates to a dishmachine that includes one or more features directed to water, energy or material savings. The disclosed dishmachines are still capable of meeting the soil demands of the articles to be cleaned.
DISHWASHER APPLIANCE WITH ADJUSTABLE DRY CYCLE
A dishwasher appliance that includes features for condensation abatement on objects surrounding the dishwasher appliance during a drying cycle is provided. The dishwasher appliance is operable in a plurality of drying cycle modes. The mode in which the dishwasher appliance operates the dry cycle is determined based at least in part on a minimum cycle temperature indicative of the minimum temperature within or of a tub of the dishwasher appliance during an operation cycle. Moreover, methods for condensation abatement are also provided.
Warewash machine with vapor extraction unit
A warewash machine includes a chamber with a wash zone and front, left and right access openings. At least one spray arm is disposed to spray liquid toward the wash zone. A multi-sided hood assembly is movable between a lowered and closed position for washing and a raised open position for inlet and outlet of wares. An air exchange system is provided for extracting hot water vapor from the chamber and for providing heated air into the chamber.
Taper pin for an appliance housing
An appliance housing includes a mating component, a confined component, a primary beam, and a pin. The mating component may define an opening. The confined component may be removably connected to the mating component. The primary beam may be elastically moveable relative to the mating component. The pin may be attached to the beam to move therewith between a flexed position and an original position. The pin may extend from a base end proximal to the primary beam to an outer end distal to the primary beam. The pin may be selectively received within the opening to constrain the primary beam relative to the mating component. The primary beam may be flexible to allow the pin to move inward to the flexed direction and return outward to the original position.
METHOD FOR RAPID ENCAPUSLATION OF A CORNER GAP DEFINED WITHIN A CORNER OF A DOOR PANEL FOR AN APPLIANCE
A method of forming an insulated door panel includes folding side flanges of a metallic sheet to define side edges of a structural outer panel that extend from a front panel. A gap is defined between each set of adjacent side edges. Interior blocks are secured to an interior of the structural outer panel proximate each gap to define adhesive cavities. Exterior blocks are positioned at an exterior surface of the structural outer panel at each gap to further define the adhesive cavities. An adhesive is disposed within each adhesive cavity and is contained therein by the interior and exterior blocks. The adhesive is cured to a solid sealing member that adheres the interior blocks to the interior surface of the structural outer panel to form a sealed structural panel. The exterior blocks are removed and each solid sealing member defines a hermetic seal at each gap.
Dishwasher
A dishwasher that includes a tub including an interior area that is configured to receive objects and includes a bottom surface, wherein the bottom surface of the tub includes a first hole; a spray arm that is located in the tub and that is configured to spray water; a sump that is (i) coupled to the tub, (ii) located under the first hole, and (iii) configured to store water; a pump configured to provide water stored in the sump to the spray arm; a cover including a cover body that is coupled to the first hole, and a second hole penetrating the cover body; a supporter including a support body that is coupled to the second hole, and a third hole penetrating the support body; and a filter unit that is coupled to the third hole and that is configured to filter water provided to the sump is disclosed.
