A device for recovering energy from hot wares includes a standalone cabinet structure having a housing that defines an internal rack receiving space and an energy recovery system associated with the cabinet structure. The rack receiving space is sized to receive and hold multiple racks of hot wares at the same time. The energy recovery system is configured to transfer heat from the hot wares to a fluid passing through the cabinet structure. A method of recovering heat from wares, and a warewash machine that includes an energy recovery system are also described.
DISHWASHER WITH DUAL WATER ENTRY MODE AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING WATER SUPPLY MODE THEREOF
Provided is a dual-mode water inlet dishwasher, comprising a shell, and an inner container, a spraying arm, a washing pump, a heating washing pump, and a respirator water tank which are provided in the shell. A water trough is provided in the inner container. A water inlet of the water trough is connected to the respirator water tank. A water outlet of the water trough is connected to the heating washing pump. The heating washing pump is connected to the spraying arm. The spraying arm sprays water to the inner container. The dishwasher integrates the functions of breathing, dual-mode water channel, anti-overflow and drainage. Also, the dishwasher has the features of simple structure, multi-function, and easy and convenient installation to facilitate the use by users.
Drying system with heat pipe and thermoelectric assembly
A dishwashing appliance includes a tub defining a wash chamber. The tub includes an inlet and an outlet. The dishwashing appliance also includes a drying system in fluid communication with the wash chamber. The drying system includes a heat pipe heat exchanger having a condenser section and an evaporator section. The evaporator section is downstream of the outlet. The condenser section is downstream of the evaporator section and upstream of the inlet. A thermoelectric assembly is in thermal communication with the heat pipe heat exchanger.
Dishwasher with heat pump
The present disclosure relates to a dishwasher having a heat pump, including a dishwasher body provided with a tub configured with a washing space therein and a sump provided at a bottom of the tub to temporarily accommodate washing water; a spray arm provided inside the washing space to spray washing water; a circulation pump that pumps the washing water of the sump; a washing water guide that guides the washing water pumped by the circulation pump to the spray arm; a heat pump provided with a compressor, an evaporator, an expansion apparatus, and a condenser provided to exchange heat in contact with the washing water of the washing water guide; and a controller that controls the heat pump to increase the temperature of the washing water of the washing water guide. As a result, it may be possible to suppress heat loss from being generated while heating washing water.
Dishwasher system with a reuse tank
A dishwasher comprising a tub, a reuse tank, and a controller for implementing a wash cycle in the tub, the controller comprising a clock, the controller operably coupled to a recirculation pump and a drain pump, the controller configured (a) to cause the recirculation pump to supply liquid used during the wash cycle to the reuse tank, (b) to monitor via a clock a period of time that the liquid is within the reuse tank, and (c) when the period of time is greater than a predetermined period of time, (i) to cause a control valve in an outlet conduit to open and allow the liquid to flow from the reuse tank to a sump and (ii) to cause a drain pump to drain the liquid from the sump and out of the dishwasher.
DEVICE FOR RECOVERING WASTE HEAT FROM HOT WATER
Disclosed is a device for recovering waste heat from hot water. The waste water heat recovery device includes heat exchange units each having a waste water pipe part along which waste water as the hot water flows and a raw water pipe part along which raw water as cold water flows, while being located inside the waste water pipe part, and a rotation driving part for rotating the raw water pipe parts. Each raw water pipe part includes a rotary shaft, a spiral blade attached to the outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft, and a raw water pipe spirally wound on the outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft to flow the raw water therealong, while being disposed along the space formed by the spiral blade on the outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft. While the raw water pipe is rotating, foreign matter flowing along the waste water pipe part is discharged by means of the spiral blade, and the raw water pipe is disposed below top of the spiral blade to thus have no contact with the inner peripheral wall of the waste water pipe part.
Warewash machine energy conservation incorporating vent controls
A warewash machine includes a housing defining a ware inlet, a ware outlet and an internal chamber including a plurality of sequential spray zones including at least one wash zone and a rinse zone downstream of the wash zone in a ware conveyance direction. A vent path leads from the chamber leading to a vent outlet for connecting to a building ventilation system. A damper is provided for controlling a flow area at a location along the vent path. A controller is connected to control a position of the damper, the controller configured to adjust a position of the damper based upon input from at least a first temperature sensor, wherein the first temperature sensor is located at one of (i) the ware inlet, (ii) the ware outlet or (iii) along the vent path. Methods of operating a warewash machine are also provided.
Dishwashing Device
A dish washing device includes an inner compartment and a water collection cup arranged at a bottom part of the inner compartment, a wash pump and a heating apparatus are arranged on the water collection cup and/or a first water supply pipeline. The wash pump is used for pumping washing water inside the water collection cup to the inner compartment via the first water supply pipeline, and the heating apparatus is used for selectively heating the washing water. The heating apparatus includes a thermoelectric cooler used for heating the washing water. In comparison to heating washing water using an electric heater, thermo- electric cooler may save a large amount of power, thereby reducing the power consumption of the dishwashing device, and facilitating energy conservation and eco-friendliness.
Dish washing machine with heat exchangers
A dish washing machine including a housing having an interior wash space for washing dishes. The housing has a liquid inlet for adding a liquid to the dish washing machine. At least one rotating spray nozzle sprays the liquid onto dishes positioned within the interior wash space. The machine further includes a heating tank for heating the liquid which is supplied to the at least one rotating spray nozzle for spraying onto the dishes in the interior wash space. Two heat exchange systems are within the housing. The two heat exchange systems transfer heat from the liquid heated by the heating tank to the liquid added to the dish washing machine from the liquid inlet. A first one of the two heat exchange systems passes heat from water in the wash tank or the interior wash space to water in the first one of the two heat exchange systems.
