Dish washer

A dish washer and a control method are disclosed. The dish washer includes a sump and at least one nozzle configured to inject water. The dish washer also includes a distributor configured to receive water of the sump and distribute the water to the at least one nozzle. The dish washer also includes a reservoir configured to receive and store the water of the sump. The dish washer also includes a circulation path configured to connect the sump and the distributor. The dish washer also includes an inflow path configured to branch off from the circulation path to supply the water of the sump to the reservoir. The dish washer also includes a first valve configured to open or close the inflow path and a second valve configured to open or close the outflow path, and the outflow path is configured to flow the water out of the reservoir.

A dishwasher includes a tub defining a washing space and accommodating dishes and a heat pump apparatus configured to heat wash water introduced into the tub. The heat pump apparatus includes a compressor configured to compress refrigerant, a first heat exchanger configured to heat water introduced into the tub, a first expansion valve configured to expand refrigerant, a second heat exchanger to which refrigerant is introduced from the first expansion valve, a second expansion valve disposed in parallel with the first expansion valve, a third heat exchanger disposed in parallel with the second heat exchanger, and a four way valve connected with the compressor, the first heat exchanger, the second heat exchanger, and the third heat exchanger and configured to change a flow path of the refrigerant.

A dishwashing machine is used for pre-rinse operation of soiled dishes. A cavity is configured and arranged to contain the soiled dishes. A nozzle is proximate the cavity and is in fluid communication with the cavity. An accumulator pan accumulates wash and rinse water including cleaning chemicals used in a previous cycle of the dishwashing machine. A fluid passageway interconnects the nozzle and the accumulator pan. A pump directs the accumulated wash and rinse water from the accumulator pan to the nozzle via the fluid passageway for pre-rinse operation of the soiled dishes in the cavity, and the nozzle directs the accumulated wash and rinse water into the cavity with the soiled dishes to assist in removing soil from the soiled dishes prior to a wash cycle of the dishwashing machine. The wash cycle utilizes fresh wash water.

The heat pump system includes an evaporator and a compressor, both the evaporator and the compressor are installed at the chassis, and the compressor is installed at the liquid collecting groove. Condensed water may be collected, and condensation water may be avoided in the liquid collecting groove and may reduce the corrosion of the liquid collecting groove and may reduce interruptions to the operation of electrical components.

A circulation valve is configured to allow the hot washing water to pass therethrough or to block the hot washing water from passing therethrough.
