SYSTEMS FOR PREVENTION OF ACCIDENTAL CONTROL INPUTS IN APPLIANCES
A dishwashing appliance includes a tub defining a wash chamber and a door rotatably mounted to the tub. The door is configured to rotate between an open position and a closed position. A user interface mounted on the door, and a controller is in signal communication with the user interface. A pulley is mounted to the tub and a cord is coupled to the door. The cord configured to rotate the pulley when the door is rotated between the open position and the closed position. A magnet is mounted to the pulley. The magnet is configured to rotate with the pulley as the door is rotated. A sensor is mounted to the tub proximate the pulley. The sensor is configured to detect the position of the magnet, and the controller is configured to disable the user interface based at least in part on the position of the magnet.
PANEL ASSEMBLY FOR A DISHWASHER, METHOD FOR MOUNTING A PANEL ASSEMBLY, AND DISHWASHER HAVING A PANEL ASSEMBLY OF THIS TYPE
A composite panel for a dishwasher includes a panel carrier, a first panel element connected to the panel carrier via a first joint arrangement which is arranged in a region of a first inner face of the panel carrier, and a second panel element connected to the panel carrier via a second joint arrangement, which is arranged in a region of a second inner face of the panel carrier. The second panel element has at least one portion in overlapping relation to the first panel element.
DISHWASHER PROVIDING NOTIFICATION FOR REPLACING FILTER AND METHOD OF PROVIDING A NOTIFICATION FOR REPLACING A FILTER
A dishwasher performs a method for providing a notification for replacing a filter. The dishwasher continues to accumulate operation time of an air blowing fan of the dishwasher, and when total accumulative operation time is predetermined time or greater, outputs a notification for replacing a filter through a display or a speaker to determine the timing of the replacement of the filter accurately.
SYSTEM COMPRISING A DISHWASHER, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISHWASHER
A system includes a dishwasher having a dishwasher cavity which can be closed by a door. Receptacles are provided for accommodating items to be washed, and a control device carries out a washing program from a number of washing programs for washing items to be washed. An optical sensor records an optical sensor signal of the dishwasher cavity, and a determining unit determines a load state of the dishwasher cavity as a function of the optical sensor signal recorded by the optical sensor. An output unit outputs a positioning recommendation to a user for the purpose of positioning at least one of the items to be washed in one of the receptacles based on the load state determined by the determining unit.
Quick-wash feature for dishwasher appliance
A dishwasher appliance including a quick-wash feature. A secondary door attached is attached to a main door and forms a quick-wash compartment. A quick-wash assembly provides fluid for cleaning. Articles may be supported on the secondary door during cleaning or may be manually supported by the user at the quick-wash assembly. Various modes of operation may be used for cleaning including wash and rinse functions.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRONIC COMPONENT
A method for manufacturing an electronic component that includes: preparing an electronic component body having an internal electrode, the internal electrode being exposed on an outer surface of the electronic component body; and forming a first electrode layer by injecting fine metal particles to the outer surface of the electronic component body and causing the fine metal particles to collide with the outer surface at a pressure lower than atmospheric pressure.
MOUNTING ASSEMBLY FOR A PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD WITHIN AN APPLIANCE CONTROL PANEL
A control panel for an appliance defines a display direction and includes a console cover defining a display surface and an inner surface, a printed circuit board defining a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface along the display direction, wherein the first surface of the printed circuit board is positioned against the inner surface of the console cover, a retention bracket mounted over the second surface of the printed circuit board to secure the printed circuit board to the console cover, and a resilient member that extends from the retention bracket toward the printed circuit board and is biased against the second surface of the printed circuit board.
APPLIANCE CONTROL PANEL WITH LIGHT DIFFUSION FEATURES
A door for an appliance includes a control panel mounted on the door and defining an illumination direction. The control panel includes a printed circuit board defining a top surface, a light source mounted to the top surface of the printed circuit board, a control cover mounted to the top surface of the printed circuit board over the light source and defining a light directing channel extending from a bottom surface of the control cover to a top surface of the control cover, and wherein the control cover further defines a reflective surface for redirecting the light generated by the light source toward the top surface of the control cover, and an overlay panel mounted on the top surface of the control cover, the overlay panel comprising one or more diffused indicator zones.
Dishwasher with discretely directable tubular spray elements
A method and dishwasher utilize one or more tubular spray elements that are both rotatable about longitudinal axes thereof and discretely directable by one or more tubular spray element drives between a plurality of rotational positions about the longitudinal axes thereof. Thus, through the provision of discretely directable tubular spray elements, fluid such as wash fluid and/or pressurized air may be focused in a wash tub, in many cases providing more efficient resource usage in the dishwasher.
Projection device
A projection device and a household appliance are provided. The projection device includes a casing, a lens component, and a pattern lighting module. An opening is disposed at a front end of the casing. The lens component is disposed inside an accommodating space of the casing and fixed on the casing, and the lens component corresponds to the opening. The pattern lighting module is disposed inside the accommodating space of the casing and fixed on the casing, and the pattern lighting module corresponds to the lens component. The pattern lighting module emits at least one patterned light beam that passes through the lens component and the opening sequentially.
