DISHWASHER, ARRANGEMENT HAVING A DISHWASHER, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISHWASHER

A dishwasher includes a controller for executing a washing program for washing a dirty item to be washed, and a receiving unit for receiving a sensor signal indicative of a dirt type adhering to the dirty item to be washed from a plurality of dirt types, with each of the dirt types being determined by a dirt parameter matrix, in which each position is assigned to a dirt parameter. A determining unit determines the dirt type adhering to the dirty item to be washed as a function of the received sensor signal, with the controller executing the washing program as a function of the determined dirt type.

VERIFICATION OF CLEANING PROCESSES WITH ELECTRONICALLY READABLE CODED COUPON
20230091952 · 2023-03-23 ·

A soil-based coupon having an electronically readable verification code printed thereon is used for verification of soil removal by a cleaning process. The coupon includes a soil overlay covering the verification code. The verification code is at least partially revealed by removal of all or part of the soil overlay during the cleaning process. If the data encoded in the verification code can be correctly decoded after completion of the cleaning process, the cleaning process can be verified. The soil overlay can be designed to match the application. The coupons may be used in a cleaning process verification procedure in which one or more computing devices analyze images of the verification codes to determine whether or not cleaning processes can be verified.

The dishwasher status indicator includes an announcement module, a monitoring module, and a wireless communication link. The wireless communication link exchanges data between the monitoring module and the announcement module. The dishwasher status indicator is for use with a dish washing machine. The dishwasher status indicator monitors the operation of the dish washing machine. The dishwasher status indicator determines and indicates when the contents of the dish washing machine are clean. The monitoring module is placed inside of the dish washing machine. The monitoring module detects the presence of water in the dish washer to determine whether the dish washer has run. The announcement module attaches to the door of the dish washing machine. The announcement module visually and audibly indicates whether the contents of the dish washing machine are clean and dirty.

System for loading different conveying tracks of at least one dishwasher, and dishwasher arrangement having such a system

A system (10) for loading different conveying tracks (2, 3, 4) of at least one in particular commercial conveyor dishwasher (1, 1′). The system (10) includes a feed conveyor belt (11) for delivering washware (9a, 9b, 9c) to loading regions of the at least one conveyor dishwasher (1, 1′). The system (10) further includes a sorting arrangement for sorting the washware (9a, 9b, 9c) delivered to the loading regions of the at least one conveyor dishwasher (1, 1′) via the feed conveyor belt (11) according to previously defined or definable washware groups. The sorting arrangement is associated with at least one loading arrangement (13a, 13b, 13c) for automatically loading the different conveying tracks of the at least one conveyor dishwasher (1, 1′) with washware (9a, 9b, 9c) of one of the previously defined or definable washware groups.

A system includes a dishwasher including a receptacle for an item to be washed, and a control device for carrying out a washing program, which can be parameterized by a number of different washing program parameters. An image-capturing device captures an image of the receptacle and an image analysis unit classifies the item to be washed in the receptacle in dependence on the captured image of the receptacle and to output a classification result to the control device. The control device is designed to parameterize the washing program depending on the classification result.

A home appliance and a control method for the home appliance, which is operable in an IoT environment through a 5G communication network and uses a neural network model generated according to machine learning is provided. The home appliance may include a home appliance main body; a container mounted within the home appliance main body to accommodate a treatment target; a camera arranged to photograph the inside of the container; and one or more processors configured to control an operation of the home appliance, wherein the processor is configured to determine an amount of a treatment target based on feature shapes of the container identified in an image of the inside of the container photographed by the camera.

Control of cleaning machine cycles using machine vision

Image classification is used to dynamically control one or more wash parameters in an automated cleaning machine. An imaging device installed in the wash chamber of the cleaning machine captures one or more image(s) of articles to be cleaned at various times throughout a cleaning process. A computing device analyzes the captured image(s) to classify the images as to an article type and a rack volume. Based on the article type classification and the rack volume, the computing device dynamically controls one or more parameters of the cleaning process to achieve a satisfactory cleaning and/or sanitizing result.
