Methods for determining operation mode of dishwasher appliance fluid circulation system
A method of determining a position of a diverter of a fluid circulation system in a dishwasher appliance includes measuring a fluid pressure in a sump of the dishwasher appliance while pumping fluid from the sump into a wash chamber of the dishwasher appliance via a first component when the diverter is in a first position. The method also includes measuring the fluid pressure in the sump of the dishwasher appliance while pumping the fluid from the sump to a filter cleaning manifold when the diverter is in a second position. Based on the measured fluid pressure, the method determines whether the diverter is in the second position.

A conveyor dishwasher (1) for washing washware has at least one final rinse zone (30, 40) and at least one washing zone (10, 20) whichas seen in the conveying direction (T) of the washwareis arranged upstream of the at least one final rinse zone (30, 40). A sensor device (5) is provided for detecting at least one parameter which characterizes the quality of the liquid which is to be sprayed in the at least one washing zone (10, 20), wherein the conveyor dishwasher (1) has a liquid transfer system which is designed, for the purpose of regenerating the washing liquid which is to be sprayed in the at least one washing zone (10, 20), to preferably as required supply an in particular definable quantity of fresh water to the at least one washing zone (10, 20).
CLEANING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CLEANING ARTICLES TO BE CLEANED
A cleaning device (110) for cleaning articles (112) to be cleaned is proposed. The cleaning device (110) includes at least one cleaning chamber (118) for receiving the articles (112) to be cleaned. In addition, the cleaning device (110) includes at least one application device (124) for acting upon the articles (112) to be cleaned with at least one cleaning fluid. The cleaning device (110) additionally comprises at least one cooling surface (158) which points to the cleaning chamber (118) and at least one cooling container (160) which is thermally coupled with the cooling surface (158) for receiving a cooling liquid. The cleaning device (110) comprises at least one control system (178) which is set up to control at least one regeneration step in the cleaning device (110). The regeneration step includes the following substeps: d) fill the cooling container (160) with cooling liquid; e) heat the cooling liquid in the cooling container (160); and f) remove the cooling liquid from the cooling container (160).
DISH WASHING APPARATUS AND DISH DRYING APPRARTUS
A dishwashing apparatus for washing dishes having a circular rim or lip is disclosed The apparatus comprises a spray nozzle configured to spray a liquid onto a target zone; a first rod; a second rod; and a third rod; the first rod, second rod and third rod each having a screw thread on an outer surface and each being rotatable about a respective longitudinal axis; the first rod, second rod and third rod being arranged in a parallel configuration, at equal distances from a central axis, wherein the separation of each of the first rod, second rod and third rod from the central axis is configured or configurable to receive a plurality of dishes such that the screw thread on each of the rods engages with the circular rim or lip of the dishes and when the rods are rotated about their respective axes, the dishes are caused to move relative to the spray nozzle in the direction of the central axis and rotate as they pass through the target zone. A dish drying apparatus having an analogous arrangement of rods is also disclosed.
A CHEMICAL DOSING SYSTEM
Disclosed herein is a chemical dosing system for an appliance, such as a laundry washing machine or a dishwashing machine, having a water inlet, the system comprising a meter determining the volume of water supplied to the appliance, a pump for dispensing a quantity of a chemical to the appliance and a control unit arranged to receive a signal from the meter and to cause to be dispensed to the appliance a volume of chemical that is proportional to the quantity of water supplied to the appliance. The disclosed system may enable a correct quantity of chemical to be automatically dispensed to many types of appliance, without the need to know anything about the appliance, or to derive an electrical signal from the appliance.
Household appliance including a mountable wireless communication module
A household appliance includes a selectively mountable wireless communication module. The selectively mountable wireless communication module can be selectively mounted in a toe kick area of the household appliance. The household appliance can be, but is not limited to, a dishwasher, an oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a microwave, a washing machine, a dryer, or a combo washer-dryer.
Method of controlling dishwasher
A method of controlling a dishwasher is disclosed. The method includes supplying water to a sump, driving a wash pump using a wash motor, introducing a detergent into a tub, and determining whether the amount of bubbles is excessive based on the value of current applied to the wash motor. The determining whether the amount of bubbles is excessive is performed after a lapse of a predetermined period of time since the start of the introducing the detergent into the tub.
METHOD AND AN APPLIANCE FOR WASHING AND RINSING GOODS SENSITIVE TO TEMPERATURE CHANGES
Provided are a method performed by an appliance for washing and rinsing goods, where some of the goods loaded into the appliance are sensitive to process water temperature changes, and an appliance performing the method. The method may include receiving via a user interface, an instruction that an appliance, during execution of a general-type washing program, should take into account that goods sensitive to temperature changes are loaded into the appliance, measuring a temperature value in a washing compartment of the appliance upon executing a draining process, and supplying fresh water to the washing compartment of the appliance. The method may include measuring, when the fresh water has been supplied, whether the process water being accommodated in a sump of the appliance is at a target temperature value or not and if not adjusting the temperature of the process water in the sump to attain the target temperature value.
