A dishwasher appliance including a quick-wash feature. A secondary door attached is attached to a main door and forms a quick-wash compartment. A quick-wash assembly provides fluid for cleaning. Articles may be supported on the secondary door during cleaning or may be manually supported by the user at the quick-wash assembly. Various modes of operation may be used for cleaning including wash and rinse functions.

A washing system for determining an operating state of a dishwasher comprises a dishwasher, in particular wherein the dishwasher comprises a dishwasher interface, a dispenser unit, in particular wherein the dispenser unit comprises a dispenser interface, wherein the dispenser unit is connected to the dishwasher for dosing a detergent to the dishwasher, a logic unit, in particular wherein the logic unit is connectable to the dishwasher interface and the dispenser interface, and a current sensor for measuring an electrical current consumed by the dishwasher, wherein the current sensor is connected to the logic unit. By replacing costly water meters by a current sensor, the cost efficiency of the washing system may be increased. In addition, the assembling and maintenance effort of the washing system may be reduced.

A warewasher is provided: It may include a timer, a wash chamber, a sump, a hot water fill solenoid configured to direct hot water into the sump, a chemical dispenser, at least one spray arm, a circulation pump, an ozone generator assembly configured to provide aqueous ozone solution to the sump, and a drain assembly. The timer may control the hot water fill solenoid, the chemical dispenser, the circulation pump, the ozone generator assembly, and the drain assembly to effectuate a cleaning sequence.

A method for cleaning dishes in a warewasher is provided: It may include filling a sump with hot water, dispensing detergent into the sump, running a wash cycle, draining the used hot water and detergent from the sump after the wash cycle, flushing the sump, filling the sump with the aqueous ozone solution, and running a rinse cycle with the aqueous ozone solution. A dosing unit for use in an automatic dosing system of a water-bearing household appliance for automatically dosing detergent tablets, the dosing unit comprising a storage cartridge for storing a plurality of the detergent tablets and a dosing device for releasing a respective one of the detergent tablets, wherein the storage cartridge includes a tubular section for storing the plurality of detergent tablets ordered in a line one behind the other.
