Motor Detection Methodology and System
Systems and methods for identifying relay contact position within an appliance. In one embodiment, an appliance includes a first motor, a second motor, and a relay. The relay can be configured to be adjusted between at least a first position associated with a first circuit of the first motor and a second position associated with a second circuit of the second motor. The appliance can also include one or more control device(s) configured to identify the position of the relay within the appliance. For instance, the control device(s) can provide a test signal to the relay and detect an output signal that is based at least in part on the input signal. The output signal can be associated with the second circuit. The control device(s) can determine whether the relay is in the first position or the second position based at least in part on the output signal.
WAREWASH MACHINE OR OTHER FOOD EQUIPMENT MACHINE WITH CONTACTOR MONITORING SYSTEM
A food equipment device, such as a warewasher, includes a powered component, the powered component being one of a heating element or a pump or a fan, and a power line path for delivering power to the powered component. A contactor is provided for controlling power delivery to the powered component, the contactor including main power contacts connected in the power line path and auxiliary contacts that operate the same as, or opposite to, the main power contacts. A monitoring system is operatively connected to the auxiliary contacts to monitor an open or closed state of the auxiliary contacts and includes a voltage source operatively connected to one of the auxiliary contacts and an electrical sensor for detecting one of (i) a voltage condition of the other auxiliary contact or (ii) a current flow condition between the auxiliary contacts.

DISH TREATING APPLIANCE WITH A DOOR OPENER
A dish treating appliance includes a cabinet defining an interior with an access opening. A door is hingedly mounted to the cabinet for pivoting movement about a pivot axis between closed and opened positions to selectively close and open the access opening. A door opener includes a housing mounted to the cabinet and defining a pin opening facing the door. An opening pin is located within the housing and aligned with the pin opening. A lever is rotatably mounted to the housing to define a rotation axis and is selectively operably coupled to the opening pin. An actuator having a reciprocating shaft is connected to the lever.
AUTOMATED CLEANING MACHINE PROCESSING USING SHORTENED CYCLE TIMES
An automated cleaning machine may include one or more short cleaning cycles in which the duration of a cleaning cycle is shortened relative to the duration of a default cleaning cycle. During a short cleaning cycle, other cleaning cycle parameters may also be adjusted to ensure that the articles subjected to the short cleaning cycle are adequately cleaned and sanitized. For example, the wash temperature, rinse temperature, and/or cleaning product amounts or concentrations, may be adjusted to account for the shortened duration of the cleaning cycle. The automated cleaning machine may further include one or more short cycle mode(s) during which short cleaning cycle parameters are used and one or more default cycle mode(s) during which default cleaning cycle parameters are used.

SYSTEM FOR LOADING AT LEAST ONE TRANSPORT DISHWASHER WITH ITEMS TO BE WASHED, ARRANGEMENT OF AT LEAST ONE TRANSPORT DISHWASHER AND A LOADING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR LOADING AT LEAST ONE TRANSPORT DISHWASHER WITH ITEMS
A system (10) for loading at least one conveyor warewasher (1, 1′) with washware includes a feed conveyor belt (11) for delivering washware to at least one loading region of the conveyor warewasher (1, 1′) and a detection system (15), in particular an optical one, configured to detect at least one of the following parameters of the washware on the feed conveyor belt (11) when delivering the washware (9a, 9b, 9c) to the loading region: (i) a type of the washware, (ii) a degree of soiling of the washware, and/or (iii) an order of the washware and/or an alignment of the washware relative to the feed conveyor belt (11). The detection system (15) has an assigned evaluation device, which is configured to control the delivery of the washware to the at least one loading region as a function of at least one of the detected parameters.
