DISHWASHER DRYING SYSTEM WITH THERMAL STORAGE HEAT EXCHANGER
A dishwasher drying system includes an air inlet configured to receive hot, humid air from a tub of a dishwasher. The dishwasher drying system also includes an air outlet configured to discharge the air to an ambient environment outside the dishwasher. The dishwasher drying system further includes an air moving device configured to cause the air to move from the air inlet to the air outlet. In addition, the dishwasher drying system includes a thermal storage heat exchanger positioned within an airflow path of the moving air, the thermal storage heat exchanger configured to absorb heat and condense moisture from the moving air as the moving air contacts the thermal storage heat exchanger during a dishwasher drying cycle.
Dish washer
A dish washer includes: a washing tank having an accommodation space for storing dishes therein; an injection arm disposed inside the washing tank, and provided with a plurality of nozzles to selectively inject washing water and air to the dishes according to a washing stroke and a drying stroke; a duct unit that defines a passage for delivering the air to the injection arm; a suction fan provided inside the duct unit to suction the air and supply the air to the injection arm; and an air heating element that heats the air to be supplied to the injection arm.
Dishwasher with improved drying performance
The present invention relates to a dishwasher (1) comprising a tub (2) wherein the washing items are washed, rinsed and dried, a fan (4) that enables the hot and humid air to be sucked from a suction channel (3) opening into the tub (2) during the drying process and to be mixed with the dry air from the outside environment in a certain ratio, an outlet port (5) that directs the air blown by the fan (4), a discharge channel (6) that is connected to the outlet port (5) of the fan (4) and that enables the air blown by the outlet port (5) of the fan (4) to be delivered to the outside environment, and a return channel (7) that enables the air blown by the outlet port (5) to be redelivered into the tub (2).
DISHWASHER WITH SOUND ATTENUATION TOE KICK PANEL
A dishwasher can comprise a tub to define a treating chamber in which articles are treated according to a cycle of operation. The treating chamber can have an access opening with a cover selectively permitting access to the treating chamber. A condenser assembly can fluidly couple to the treating chamber for drying articles washed during the cycler of operation. The condenser can fluidly couple to an exhaust conduit disposed in a toe kick panel, which attenuates the sound travelling through the toe kick panel.
DISHWASHER WITH A MULTI-LAYER ACOUSTIC MATERIAL IN A CONDENSING DRYING SYSTEM
A dishwasher can comprise a tub to at least define a treating chamber. The treating chamber can have an access opening with a cover selectively permitting access to the treating chamber. The condenser assembly can be made of a multi-layer absorptive acoustic material, which attenuates sound emanating from the treating chamber and travelling through the condensing section. The sounds attenuation can provide for reducing or eliminating the need for sound insulation necessary within the dishwasher.
Multi-directional air distribution assembly for a dishwashing appliance
A dishwashing appliance includes a tub defining a wash chamber. An inlet is defined in the tub and provides air flow into the wash chamber. A fan selectively urges air through the inlet in at least two different directions, including a first direction and a second direction. A diverter disk is proximate the inlet downstream of the fan and upstream of the wash chamber. The diverter disk defines an axial direction. The diverter disk is movable along the axial direction between a first position and a second position. The fan urges the diverter disk to move from the second position to the first position when the fan urges air through the inlet in the first direction, and the fan urges the diverter disk to move from the first position to the second position when the fan urges air through the inlet in the second direction.
DOMESTIC APPLIANCE
A household appliance includes a functional compartment, and an insulation arrangement arranged externally on the functional compartment for thermal and/or acoustic insulation of the functional compartment. The insulation arrangement includes a first insulation element made as a single piece from a plastic material which is selected such that a surface of the first insulation element in facing relation to the functional compartment adheres to the functional compartment and is separable therefrom in a non-destructive manner. An active drying system is operably connected to the functional compartment for active drying of an item received in the functional compartment.
Dishwashing appliance having a multi-zone drying assembly
A dishwashing appliance, as provided herein, may include a cabinet, a tub, a pump, a spray assembly, a first fluid path, and a second fluid path. The first fluid path may extend from a first path inlet to a first path outlet to recirculate air within a wash chamber. The first path inlet may be defined in fluid communication between the wash chamber and the first path outlet. The second fluid path may extend from a second path inlet to a second path outlet to direct ambient air to the wash chamber. The second path inlet may be defined in fluid communication between an ambient environment surrounding the dishwashing appliance and the second path outlet. The second path outlet may be defined in fluid communication between the second path inlet and the wash chamber downstream from the second path inlet.
METHOD FOR CLEANING CUTLERY OR CUTLERY PARTS, CUTLERY HOLDER FOR HOLDING CUTLERY TO BE CLEANED IN A DISHWASHER, AND DISHWASHER
A method for cleaning cutlery or cutlery parts, wherein the method includes the method step of filling a cutlery holder with the cutlery to be cleaned, the method step of treating the cutlery to be cleaned with a washing liquid, and the method step of treating the washed cutlery with a clear rinsing liquid. The cutlery holder is filled with the cutlery to be cleaned such that the individual cutlery parts are movable relative to each other and/or relative to the cutlery holder, wherein at least during clear rinsing and preferably also during washing, the cutlery parts are moved at least once and preferably several times relative to each other and/or relative to the cutlery holder in order to avoid static contact points between the individual cutlery parts and/or between the cutlery parts and the cutlery holder. A corresponding cutlery holder, and a dishwasher are also provided.
